I really liked him, he was a real menace of a bad guy, but his ending was also pretty good.
He is by far the best bug trainer ever seen in the anime.
Centiskorch, scolipede, Drapion and Lokix are some Pokémon I would really like to see him use on his team. Definitely my favorite character from sun and moon

This is what I loved about the Pokémon anime more than battling in the games. This sorta thing keeps the battles fresh and inventive, making them much more than the types, states, and experience of the Pokémon battling

I like the tactic that the bug gym leader used. The gym leader used a Scyther as his best pokemon. Basically, his strategy was to use Scyther's Sword Dance to create a wall of wind to protect it from all Fire Attacks while simultaneously powering up Scyther's attack power.

I stand by the fact that Guzma was likely the single best strategic battler in the entire series. No anime logic comebacks, just raw skill and the desire to dominate the battlefield... Other trainers go to battle, Guzma goes to war.
