It is funny comparing Nairo talking about Smash versus ZeRo. It is crazy to think MKLeo is dominating just by not giving an inch, but it is so hard to not give an inch, especially once you get caught of guard and Leo's other strength is capitalizing on the advantage as much as possible when the risk is balanced. I think Peach players are just going to be used to giving up stage control to safely grab projectiles along with other characters that pull them, such as Link.
This idea is what separates top consistent tekken players with other tournament players. It's harder for people to build that idea in smash because you don't really "see" the risk vs reward. Smash players have it built in their minds to always try to outread and out neutral their opponents. This causes them to go for unnecessary reads in favorable positions that cost them the advantage. At times it will garner them the win and what not but to be "consistent" you have to make those decisions when to be disciplined

But it's like zero is saying, if you haven't even gotten past the point of making nervous mistakes and losing leads, then the character study doesn't really matter. Like it's easy for Leo to capitalize when everyone else makes more mistakes than him. That was zeros main point. If people could be as consistent in their fundamentals as leo them they could begin to break down his particular game.
@@sebastiansullivan4770d so why why can’t Leo break down their game lol? @@jeremiahtannehill8870 of course he is a genius at the game. But, what does that literally mean? When you break it down, it's a few things. One of them is that he doesn't make those nervous mistakes that everyone else does while under pressure. Just because he is the best doesn't mean you can't analyze and understand why he is the best. It doesn't come down to things that are beyond human comprehension. Like, he makes better decisions, he is more consistent but he is not perfect and you can see his mistakes too sometimes. It's just that he makes less of them and in a game which is won and lost on single interactions it really helps to have nerves of steel and data about how to optimally react in specific scenarios.
