I grew up in the 80’s and we didn’t have technology/internet so we listened to music 24/7. Bob Marley’s music carried me through all the difficult times in my life. You can not listen to his music and be bummed at the same time. It’s an impossibility.

Run! Run to the nearest record store and buy "Babylon by Bus". It is a double live album recording of Bob Marley and the Wailers and it is one of the top 5 albums in my life. Seriously dude. It changed my life. I am a white 66 year old former sailor who was introduced to Bob while stationed at the Naval Submarine Base, Pearl Harbor, HI in the late '70s. I have worn out many, many copies of this (cassette, vinyl, CD) having surely listened to it well over 1,000 times. I currently have it on audiophile grade vinyl and on archival 15ips reel to reel tape (2 tape copies, one for listening and one for eternity) Everything Marley did is exquisite but "Babylon" was the first thing I ever heard of Bob's and is still one of the greatest live recordings ever made.
