  • The very first of its kind: Using motion control platform technology, the Eventing Simulator replicates the exact movement of a horse to assess and train riders in all 3 disciplines; dressage, show jumping and cross country.
    The product is not designed to replace a real horse but to simulate and aide training in a controlled and safe environment.

      abdabagel yeah. I wish it would spook sometimes, bolt, buck, rear, etc. That's WOULD make it way more realistic. Plus it could be changed on how bouncy it was.

    I tried this at a fair and it was hella fun but I don't think it would but the best teachers are mistakes.That way you can learn what you did wrong and fix yourself. For example if you put your leg in the wrong position, this horse won't do anything. In real life, many horses would either speed up or buck. IF you are riding a mechanical horse just because your afraid of falling, then I'm afraid you have a problem with this sport in general. This is just my opinion, please don't take offence in this.

    • @juliastefanska6590
      @juliastefanska6590 6 лет назад +11

      Angie I agree, this sport is labelled as an "extreme" sport and if you don't want to take the risk of falling you shouldn't be riding unless you are doing it leisurely. I've never been on one, but I don't it'd teach you much apart from correcting your position, but the whole point is, when you get on a horse that's difficult to ride and you master you seat and position then you'll find it much easier on easier horses. This does the opposite, most of us would find this easy and get on a hard horse and freak out. But that's just my opinion

    • @ribavrx4131
      @ribavrx4131 6 лет назад +10

      To be fair though, this is a dream come true for people in my (understandably rare) position. I used to ride, and since my genetic condition worsened I'm not well enough to safely handle a fall, it could kill me, so I can't ride anymore. This machine would give me some semblance of that experience back. It has its uses, even if unorthodox or not ones you'd think of immediately (:

    I notice people compare this to a real horse. This is supposed to help you with balance, holdings the reins and ques. Ofc it doesn't buck you off bc it's meant for practice. And so what if the robot horse doesn't rear or buck? It's bloody robot horse to help you ride, not so you can pick up metal droppings. And if you can't stay on a bucking or resting horse then you can't stay on. I find it hard to believe people would buy a bucking and rearing horse just for practice.

Yeah it's pricey but it'd be worth it as some just can't afford the real thing esp since it's a living creature in need everyday of care. This would require some mantaince i'm sure but if taken good care of, should hopefully last a long time.

    But the thing is, real horses are unpredictable, and they all have slightly different gaits and they all act different. This horse is just to improve the riders position. No spooking, no stopping at jumps, no falls, but those are how we learn. We need to make mistakes before we can correct them. I mean this robot would definitely be awesome to ride, be never the same as a real horse. It’s just an advanced rocking horse
