Sir, we can use "many" when we just want to reffer to a large number.
We can use "most" when we want to reffer to a mejority of a group.
We do not say,
I have most friends.
We say,
I have many friends.
We can say,
Most friends of mine came to my house on my birthday.
It means,
Some of my friends did not come .
If I say,
Many friends of mine came to my house on my birthday.
It means,
Few friends did not come.
Is it correct sir?
Please help me to understand.
'Many friends of mine came to my house on my birthday.' might mean some/a few/many did not come. Many could refer to 500 people in a group of 2000 in a certain context. We can't come to fixed conclusion about the percentage of people it refers to. It can change in different contexts.

Difference of -most,a most ,the most
'A most' would not be a grammatical phrase. 'The' before 'most' would specify the noun it's referring to. 'Most' would generalize the noun.
