    Video presenting the construction of a remote control excavator.
    WARNING. It is not a DIY, it is an example of construction, I am not a professional. I just want to share the making of a compact RC excavator.
    The excavator will be semi-scale, so not 100% identical to the real model, some parts are adapted according to the constraints of the scale model.

    Holy cow, what an amazing build and the attention to detail! Loved this series! I totally see why construction RC equipment is so expensive. Awesome skills you have and I'm speechless! Thanks for sharing your passion!

    This was just plain incredible. I was completely captivated through all 4 parts. I design and build industrial machinery for a living... maybe I need to scale down. This looks like so much fun.

    Making a good video always comes with the combination of several things or skills. First of all an awesome topic by making a machine like this...on scale!! The skills of the maker, the camerawork at last but hardly least, the music from Dalyas and the Unicorn Heads I believe. All three of these combined deserves a medal of honour in making things how they were made. Big thumbs up for your patience, skills, camerawork and choosing your music. Thanks for sharing this beautiful video with me 👍👍❤️

    You show that the model made in this way does not have to be extremely expensive, of course, I omit all the hydraulics (pump, valves and cylinders) are the most expensive elements of this build. In the description you made a reservation that it is not an exact copy of a real machine, it does not matter to me, because in my opinion what you have built does not differ in quality from the extremely expensive RC excavators for thousands of Euro. Looks like real and works like real, plus you made it with your own hands. Could there be anything more satisfying? You should open your own manufacture, because I see that you are a talented person. Congratulations!!! P.S. Thank you for the electronics wiring diagram, it makes all connections are clear. It is a big help for newbies. :))) Best regards from Poland :)

    A couple of questions if you don't mind me asking:
    - You welded the brass, and glued the aluminum. However, there is a part on video 1 that you weld some silver material with the electric welder. What material is it?
    - To glue the aluminum, you just use Epoxy glue or something similar to JBWeld?

    • @BartsteRCModels
      @BartsteRCModels  3 года назад

      Brass and steel are soldered with electronic solder tin. Aluminium is glued with epoxy. Sometimes I use Alia 382 for solder aluminium but not on thin parts.
      I use epoxy Endfest 300

    Steve, is the black hydraulic hose you are using a bit flexible, or hard?
    Usually if it's hard it is very difficult to fix to the connector

    Well.. I have no words. This is incredible. In fact, this is very inspiring. Some things, if you want them to be really good, require a lot of attention and details, and those who are not afraid, just roll up their sleeves and get the job done, piece by piece, piece by piece. In the end you have a beauty. I have a (programming) project myself, for it to become complete, I still need to get a lot of minor details done. There is no work around, one just needs to sit down and do parts of the job, one by one, till the end.
