I really appreciate the time you spend showing all of us how to set up Thetis. You have the heart of a teacher. I purchased a Hermes Lite 2 a week ago and have taken the time to carefully watch all the Zero to Hero videos. My system works and sounds great thanks to you.
Hi Kurt, how to adjust to reduce latency while monitoring the audio on TX mode while listing through the headphone in the software?? I really like to listen to my audio while I am transmitting.
If you want to achieve a short latency, you'll have to install the companion board where you can feed the mike input from there. The audio is processed and goes through different stages so there will always be a few hundred miliseconds of latency. Another option is to use the FDUCE SL40 microphone. On the bak it has a 3.5 mm headphone jack connection. You could use a headphone and stick it in there. You can control VAC to output through the FDUCE microphone. The mike input will be routed also to the headphone, but it will be audio straight from the microphone and not from the HL2

Glad it was helpful!
Thank you for another useful video and explanation of the various controls. I continue to learn with your explanations!
Thanks for your comments
