I've noticed a trend amongst a lot of Candle Makers when they start focusing more on the "business side" of their video it's not long before they stop making candles and start consulting etc. I'm sure you will kill it congrats on your decision and deciding to go another direction.

I quit making as well. I initially wanted a Schitts Creek style store. But I got distracted making soap and candles. Now I am focused on my store.
Judith, your mental health & family comes first. Strengthen all of your family things before you start to grow the business. Dip & Dive into the candle making. Make it only a holiday thing. Seasonal! There for you can get income from those who loves your candles. I think that dipping & diving into the candle business will make it feel more fun than it being a business headache. Make sure you exercise a lot because I know body movement trains the brains & allows you to interact more with things and others without it seeming to be stressful. Totally agree. And when stepping away isn’t enough, it’s OK to put things on Pause for as long as you need for whatever reason suits your life at the moment.

I was looking for another kind of business after I had to stop designing furniture once I moved. I lost a nasty apartment to work out of but gained a beautiful apartment. I have been trying macrame, crochet and knitting but it’s not been fun. I was at Michael’s and was going to grab some candle making business but the woman said a bunch of people are buying candle making products. This is why I decided against it. I figured the competition would be too big.
