The lesson learn from this scene is never listen to one side of a story. HYJ's disciple was the party in the wrong and Huo Ye punished the disciple. An impulse on HYJ's side causes the life of Huo Ye eventually when both of them duel to settle the issue.
What a vicious fight! It could've gone both ways. but Jet Li was carrying such a hatred inside him he was willing to kill for it. In the end the total lack of compassion made the difference.
Even Dore I know is acting..This is the only movie scene that made me hate jet Li for acting rash by killing an innocent man..i feel like crying knowing too well the man was innocent, he die for his pride.
