Any officers that end up being investigated for illegal detainment, arrest, physical abuse, going against department policy, etc.., if through investigation by Internal Affairs and are found guilty, not only would the officer(s) be suspended or fired, but they would have their (license, which no officer at the moment nationwide has yet), which would state he/she is qualified to be hired to be a police officer, would be revoked. That means, that officer couldn't get another job as a police officer nationwide ever again, until that officer could show proof to Internal Affairs, that they can have their eligibility to be a police officer reinstated.
