- A known criminal that New Mexico police officers called “another mistake of this f***ing town” decided he was going cause chaos on a random Wednesday in Las Cruces. Cody Jimenez, a repeat offender, pleaded guilty to three charges in connection with this wild incident caught on bodycam.

The frustration in that cop's voice when he said: "just another repeat offender they'll let out again..." I'm sure that sentiment is echoed in every police department all over America, sir. We law abiding citizens feel the same way.
I'm a law abiding citizen and there's way to many crooked cops out here. Cops breaking into homes, doing illegal evictions, taking money from gangsters, fabrication of charges to hide their illegal actions. I for one day officer maybe you should quit.

I live in Las Cruces, the citizens are fed up with all the crime in this town. We have a new police chief and he is awesome. We hopefully will be getting a new district attorney who will help clean up this town.

Coty Jimenez was ordered to be held without Bail. The Judge recognized that he was a danger to the community. The Judge returned him to Jail based on this event & several similar events leading up to this.

Which is the problem. Think about the costs for law enforcement without adding all the medical costs on top of them being simply caught, run through the judicial system and then incarcerated (well, used to be anyways, now we just let them free with a promise to pay their fines…that they NEVER pay). So now for every criminal caught, we have to shoulder the costs of making sure they’re healthy. Holy FS. Wow.

The police did their job, what did the next phase of the criminal justice system do with this particular individual? And it's not just New Mex, (insert state here). Seems felonious car thievery and blatant shop lifting and other facets of burglary and robbery are not instituted nearly enough. Not even close. This is broad and general in massive parts of the country. The criminals have no fear for the most part. Very disheartening.
Same in WA State! Prosecutors and Judges let criminals walk! Blue states are nothing but a crime scene and cops and the public are the ones suffering!

I looked up Coty Eugene Jimenez and see the DA successfully argued he be held without bond.
He plead guilty to the charges and was remanded to a NM state prison.
Checking the NM inmate look up I see he is out on parole. Did anyone see how much time he did? Was it 1.5 years?

Seems to be the trend in most of these videos - i guess it’s because we have very short attention spans these days & most of these videos actually start with some boring car chases, rocking up to arrest people & talking to witnesses etc, so they lead with a teaser to ensure we know that there is “action” coming 🤷♀️ I get more annoyed with the pointless narration of exactly what’s about to happen in only a few seconds, unless it’s actually funny like “the suspect is decentralised with his face being introduced to the ground”
