Kinda weird now to see NBC televising College Basketball, considering how much they changed in the last 23 years when it comes to their sports coverage.

People forget this was almost a national title game. Tech gave UNLV a lot of fits in the Final Four.

That game vs. UNLV was one of the best college halves in the history of college basketball.

Kenny Anderson not a floor general??? What game were you watching? He had 8+ assists! And as far as being playground, the great thing about Kenny was all his flash was done with a purpose...it always resulted in a basket, either by him or the recipient of his magical pass. Pure and simple the best point guard to ever do it at the college level...

You're welcome, man. Even though I was very young during that time, I am going to have to agree with you on that one, 80s and 90s basketball is the BEST.

Kenny was a great college point guard and Dennis Scott was basically a NBA player at this point.

No doubt @kobi smith. Kenny was the best and did everything with a purpose. In fact Dennis Scott mentioned that Kenny wasn't the stereotypical NYC point guard, dribbling between his legs for no reason. Kenny would faired well against any of the greats in college basketball at the point guard position. Peace.

Thanks man. There were some great games back then, especially on this day. This game, Suns/Celtics (which I also have), UNLV-LSU (LJ vs Shaq, don't have that one yet) and the Niners running away to victory over the Broncos in SB XXIV.

It sure is, especially considering that I remember them airing NBA basketball more than I do them airing College Basketball. The most I remember NBC airing College Basketball was when they showed lame-duck Notre Dame basketball during the 1990s when I was a kid. I was about 8-and-a-half years old when they aired their last college game, believe it or not.

Looking at these games just shows the Kenny Anderson could have been much better. He was all playground and not much of a floor general..
