Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a Safetran Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
After I got the malfunction at 24th Street filmed, I went over to the ATN's yard where I chatted with the signal maintainer a bit, and managed to get a couple of old crossing bells from them. I then went on over to the NS AGS North to see about shooting at least this crossing. Due to my own stupidity, I wound-up missing a heritage unit, but, after a little while of waiting, I was able to catch this NS 16T heading north through Attalla with an AC44C6M leading a Dash-9 on the head-end and another AC44C6M working as the train's DPU.
Sometime after my last video of this crossing, the closer signal here was replaced entirely. Interestingly, NS chose to reuse a signal from the abandoned and ripped-out Tuscaloosa Avenue #1 crossing on the AG Branch in Gadsden, which is kinda neat to see. It's a shame the GS Type 1 pair here no longer exists though.
