@@sourabhbohra1716 well he had little arguments with tao in season 1, and most of the people aren't in his previous friend group!! in season 1, the milkshake scene, he looked kinda shy, not uncomfortable, but it was obvious he felt he wasn't really fitting (that's also why they drank alone after)
In school nick had like the exact opposite social position than the friend group and tao always suspected nick to treat charlie badly or make a joke out of him.

Theory: In that clip where Imogen says to Nick: "Your friend group is so nice. How did you get to know everyone?" and Nick starts to respond but it cuts off...I think he DOES tell Imogen that he and Charlie are together.
The get together is happening in Charlie's living room, and all the people who are present already know that they're a couple. Nick probably feels like it's a safe space to tell her and the way he looks at Charlie first is almost as though he's silently asking for Charlie's permission and checking with him if it's okay to tell her.
I think the editing is cleverly trying to mislead us because if you look closely, the next scene it cuts to is not Charlie's room, it's Nick's bedroom! And they're dressed completely differently so I think it's happening on a completely different day, and it could be that they're having a conversation about Nick's 3 main rugby friends and how he still couldn't come out to them and Charlie is reassuring him that there's no deadline and that it should be on Nick's terms when he tells them. ❤
Their relationship is soooo healthy I can't cope. ❤🥰

Yeah I'm more curious about her as she was not in the book. I'm honestly happy with the differences between series and the book, probably the first book that I actually enjoyed the changes they made in the series adaptation. Because it usually makes me upset if the story is changed but this was actually perfect
“I do want to come out” 1:09 I love that this is about Kit’s character struggle to tell everyone, to embrace his sexuality and I’m sorry that he couldn’t have that in real life, but this perspective can give him the comfort he’s still looking for as he will see and feel again the emotions his character went through. I hope the outcome is a heartwarming one, because he deserves feeling at ease, he deserves to have the series at his safe place just like it is for many of us. Thank you Kit for trying your best. We truly appreciate, love and support you 🥺

Finished watching S2 and honestly, seldom I've seen series that have moved me so much. No, there's no extraordinary reason to like the series, except its simplicity. I have loved the series only because of its simplicity. The simplicity with which S2 portrays so many overlooked issues in our society, such as the struggle of coming out, the lasting impact of bullying on an individual, agony of not being able to accept your identity, family abuse, life of a trans person, asexuality, importance of self-love etc, is mind blowing. Hats off to the entire team! ♥️
These two have now reunited and we couldn’t imagine another wholesome story to be presented in this format. Nick and Charlie are simply meant to be, as if they’re tied together by a string of fate.

This trailer is literally giving me a panic attack from being so cute yet, so chaotic at the same time I just can’t feel I need to rewatch it because I was just panicking for the cuteness the first time. And Elle is SO pretty in season
I rewatched it last month and well first time i watched it i was in denial of my sexuaity and wouldn't even allow myself to so anything further about the girls then they're pretty and now rewatching it i was dying over Tara and Darcy (especially Darcy) because well they're gorgeous idk but it feels good to not deny a attraction

It makes me sad knowing Netflix outted Kit Connor so his storyline in this trailer made me cry because he never got that chance to tell the world he was bisexual and I still remember his tweet and how that was taken away because of Netflix saying they wanted the actors sexuality irl to be as close as possible to their characters on the show. I was forever teamkit after this and I will always have sympathy and empathy for him 🖤❤️ he is why I love this show so much more 🥺
Just when I thought Heartstopper couldn't get any better, Season 2 comes along and steals your heart all over again! The chemistry between Nick and Charlie is so heartwarming and genuine, and the representation and storytelling are absolutely exceptional.

I had such a huge smile on my face throughout this trailer like this is going to be so perfect! And you can tell that the actors have improved SO much since season 1. Also the story will now have a slower pace so hopefully my heart will not burst from all the drama unfolding simultaneously. Imogen getting drafted into their group, Tao finally accepting Nick and them becoming friends and Ben (probably) playing a more positive role is something I'm really looking forward to. Oh god I'm so excited for this I can't put it in words. August 3rd couldn't come faster. Y'all bow down to the literal angel Alice Oseman for creating this beautiful universe for us.

I don't think Ben will play a positive role. I interpreted the scene as him trying to make Nick feel bad for not coming out yet. I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves Charlie alone now and tries to undermine Nick instead. Probably because he's jealous of them.

Alice confirmed that Isaac is aromantic asexual so he's not having a love story at least not your stereotypical one as by being aromantic be doesn't feel romantic attraction so the scene is most likely a rejection rather than getting together.

i’m interested too! part of why i love the comics is bc aside from my ally ass loving watching the gays thrive and being a sap over all the romance, is bc of the mental health aspect i *can* relate to! they did such a great job of portraying charlie’s ED in the comics, made me feel better abt my own mental health. so hoping they do it justice in the series :,) there’s a lot of bad rep of EDs in film tbh

DEFINITELY had no idea season 2 was out but good I found out late because I enjoyed the first season so much and was happy when the rugby player, the little short guy's boyfriend started to accept their rationship and was happy to announce to everyone about it. Now I can't wait to see what awaits in season 2 because I have been super depressed for months now I hope it'll help take my mind off a few things and I can relax and enjoy.

Oh my!!!! Literally freaking out right now!!! Nick and Charlie are just too darn adorable and I'm loving these kind of interactions between each of the characters!!! Imogen being integrated into the group looks great and more. Issac!!!! Him and James look adorable and I'm loving the characters arc each of the characters seem to be having. Was that Christian, Sal and Otis??? It looks so wholesome!!!! ❤❤

i love how this is about nick/kit's character, and how it's related to kits coming out. He didn't get to come out when he was ready, but nick did so personally i think it will help him play nick in heartstopper to kind of like re- do his coming out by playing a character that he relates to mentally/ emotionally. (my opinion)

Words cannot describe how much this series means to me, but I’ll try my best!! I know it’s not exactly the most realistic show, but that kind of makes it more enjoyable!! Seeing Nick and Charlie have so many people who support them and so many loving friends is incredibly refreshing and is good encouragement to be the best you can be and the people who truly love you will support and encourage you to be who you are. I’m so glad it’s getting renewed for a season 2!!! I know Netflix tends to cancel everyone’s favorite TV shows (though they seem to be sticking with this one, thank god) and I’m unimaginably grateful that they’re not giving this show the same treatment.
IKR I was so pissed when they cancelled Julie & the Phantoms and Lockwood & Co. Those really could've had at least 2 more seasons.

No word is enough to describe my feelings, they keep the warm vibe but managed to make the story deeper this season, and everyone gets their own story. I'm so glad tho they didn't reveal much in the trailer. And please more than 30 mins per episode this time 🥺
