The centre row ought to have been offered with a foldable bench seat option and should have offered a sliding and reclining capability and should have been removable as well. There should have been an option for 3 rows of Captain Seats too. The Rearmost Captain seats also ought to have been foldable. It is good that they can be removed as needed. Small practical touches like this right out of the factory would have been great!
Paint quality? The biggest question mark on Force remains as it is. The rust on 6 month old gurkha was same like my 7yr old Wagonr. And hence i opted for Thar instead of Gurkha.

A great review, although the track was a let down. What type of axle does it have in the front ? Rigid ? I mean, it must be, for a diff lock to operate. The gear throws remind me of the Traveller...is it that gearbox, modified to suit the 4x4 system ? The dashboard looks lik ean after thought, like they forgot about it and did something last minute to catch the launch deadline !! IS the cluster display fixed ? Having a 24x7 TPMS is distracting... I'd prefer the needles for speedo and tacho, like the Jimny, with an MID for the fancy stuff. The second row aircon is the similar one that the Safari and Sumo had earlier.. although it gets the work done, it dosen't look good from any angle. A huge vehicle and requires similar broad places to pass through, I guess. The Jimny scores better here. The Gurkha, Rubicon and the Jimny all share similar storage spaces...:) The rear seats are comfy for travel, but luggage has to travel on the roof, I guess. No two ways about that ! A tough car indeed, but, in Delhi-NCR, one has to junk it after 10 years...that's the sad part. The Jimny and the Petrol THAR can survive another 5 years..although with it's dismal FE, the petrol Thar would be disposed way earlier than it's 15 year deadline !!
Meanwhile bring back the GAMA and give a run for the Mahindra Bolero. Place it 100 K below the Bolero because Bolero is ridiculously priced. You can sell good numbers.
I’m extremely happy to see that they have improved things by listening to critics . Like engine “power upgrade” with an option to economise when you want . Lovely idea. ”suspension arms” redesigned for ground clearance. digital front console and an info system with google maps BTW(Toyota still needs this upgrade) The issues still linger on non adjustable middle row seat back angle. Why can’t they just swap the middle row and the back row exactly like the Innova crysta ? It’s an extremely convenient setting. If I buy this 5door I’ll surly get it done as an after market thing… captain seats in the middle and 50:50 flat bed seat as the last-row with detachable and foldable option . Exactly like Citron C3Aircross . ❤❤ I’m extremely happy to see them work on the product and upgrade it with mindful inputs. All that is left now are the showrooms and silly sluggish sales agents who are least interested in selling . Lena hai lo varna Aage badho…. Sawal mat poocho.
It’s so much more proportionate and now can be called a nice looking SUV. It just needs to trump its utilitarian features and add swank into it when it comes to features and interiors. This car will most definitely be a contender for top position if the people at the company work on it and are able to fine tune all to perfection. The 5 Door has the looks, has the presence.. now only if interiors, features and terrain can be fine tuned to match some of the well knows suvs in the market, it’s a sure winner
I Always wanted that and waited lot and bought jimny over thar and gurkha due to daily off-roading conditions, sand and snow is the biggest challenges for this bulky machines, still am in live with this two machine gurkha and thar
Force could make the 5 Door Gurkha a proper 5 seater SUV making the 2nd row seats much more comfortable. And also in turn reducing the height of the roof, especially the rear roof without having to worry for the rear 3rd row seats (which won't exist considering it will be a 5 seater). TBH the front and side profile of the SUV looks great but the rear profile looks quite odd and out of place with the high roof.
This needs to be exported, I'm sure there's a good chunk of people worldwide who would like to own a reliable boxy SUV and need 3 locking diffs with a good ol' reliable Merc engine, just like the older classic G-Wagen.
Atleast Force Motors Actually Listens to Customer Feedback and they have geniune pricing. Not fooling and cheating customers like Maruti did with Jimny. Kudos Team Force
Ok, not great, for highway but for bad roads it will reach destination earlier than even high end models because of wonderful suspension. I have travelled in these vehicles for 20+ years.
The engine improvement is definitely worth praising. Good job force, next thing left is fit & finish, choice of material and comfort before this car etches its name for forever as a fan favourite.
Going through the review, this reminds me of SUVs from the 1990s. It's actually crazy how they were ok with selling a product that's so terribly constructed from the inside.
make it a 4 seater with captain seats. seats needs to recline too. Offer automatic variant , it's 2024. Add soft touch in some places , remove hard plastics and It will become no 1 in this segment. Also if they are not following 4 m rule then stretch it to 4.6 - 4.7 M then it will be REAL G-WAGON.
Looks amazing! There will always be pros and cons. But, I think this seems good enough and to the mark. Power and torque seems good to go for. Features are pretty decent.
For trips it is ok to use, but not for daily, few days ago I went to police station in Palampur to ask about this thing, as my wife with family wanted to go to Manali with our small Santro Xing, they said just for trip use and don't argue with police officers if they stop you. As I am foreigner, police officers always give good advices how not to get into troubles in India 😊so I went to Manali and all was ok. After trip I removed the carrier and waiting for the next trip, maybe with new Gurkha 🤩 but some people I see using these carriers daily, maybe you can use it daily if it is original, not universal
Why do car manufacturer want to use digital display if they cannot afford a good one? Look at this 😢 It's definitely a deal breaker for anyone Use analog one. Only odometer, differential lock, trip chart, fuel indicator and TPMS could have been digital
For force break is always issue.. with hill control break will not strained during decent.. otherwise if you use break you aren't going to stop during decent..

Upgrades which are still missing
1) All around Disk
2) Proper updated Suspension setup at the rear ( still using leaf spring, common it's not a pick up truck any more...)
3) Good amount of space in middle row, With Captain Seats at least as an option.
4) Add more goodies to make it a more updated and comfortable.
5) EBS,EBD & all other options.
6) beg, borrow or Steal but hire good team of interior designer's.
and don't worry if price go up above 30lac (janata hoon 140 hp ke liye ye bohot hai ) still people will Purchase it
Desi G WAGON😂
Yessss 🔥🔥🔥🔥
It's 1st gen g wagon
We also have desi Wrangler to launch in 5 doors 😂
Kudos to the desi team . We are growing stronger . Soon such cars will go international..rooting for our home boys.
As usual… Autocar India Reviews are more sensible and upto the point… Good Job🌷
Force need three things, some improvement to attract cusomers seriously.
Dashboard, Engine and should make it a little bit wide. Rest all good
The main thing they need is a good service network pan India
Engine Issue Is Resolved. Dashboard Is Ok But That Steering Wheel Need To Go.
My dream car ,will buy this within the coming 1-2 years.
Kinda disappointing tbh. The 2nd row should've been more spacious and the interior should've been of better quality.
Is 3 door also boosted to 140 hp? Are the front wheel swings upward than before, had it gained more offroad clearance. Only 3 door?
Woooooohoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! Time ro start cutting my unnecessary expenses. I need one of these in this very red shade.
I might will take if they will put 6 airbags 😊 black one I would take 😊 for Himachal will be best I think, or 2nd hand land cruiser 🤔
@@JustasG how much is a 2nd hand landcruiser going these days?
@@beast236 100 series for 10-20 lakhs, but it is 20 years old almost. Himachal roads are narrow, maybe Gurkha will be better than land cruiser

Wow wow wow. I loved the ride quality with those 16 inch wheels, hope that setup isn’t disturbed. To the Force Gurkha Team -> ❤❤❤

Paint quality? The biggest question mark on Force remains as it is. The rust on 6 month old gurkha was same like my 7yr old Wagonr. And hence i opted for Thar instead of Gurkha.
Please don't say it is desi g wagon or lets modify it to g wagon. Let it be Gurkha. It can't match g wagon no matter what u do. But that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful vehicle . For me it is beautiful than g wagon.
This is FORCE GURKHA HOUSE!

Did someone notice that the instrument console looks like a modified one from Renault kiger 😂
EXACTLY!
Absolutely road side after market types interiors
Have to say this is the real deal. Lots of space and go anywhere capability.
I don't really need it but if I needed a vehicle with real off road capability, this is definitely I'll buy over any other.
wow it looks great 👌😄
A great review, although the track was a let down.
North Indian chappris will be excited to drive this over medians and dividers
Will there be an automatic transmission option available for the Force Gurkha in the future?
1bhk😂
❤❤ Lovely vedio and very well explained
Does all the updates comes to 3 door gurkha? Specially the engine?
Yes
Why is the instrument panel showing D in a manual car? Did they source the display from Ali express?
Most probably 😂
This was recorded in Goa?
What would be the Ex-showroom and on road price range in Bengaluru?
Meanwhile bring back the GAMA and give a run for the Mahindra Bolero. Place it 100 K below the Bolero because Bolero is ridiculously priced. You can sell good numbers.
this is good now...hope to see more customers buy it...
Oh My God.. I hope this video get billions views
I’m extremely happy to see that they have improved things by listening to critics .
Like engine “power upgrade” with an option to economise when you want . Lovely idea.
”suspension arms” redesigned for ground clearance.
digital front console and an info system with google maps BTW(Toyota still needs this upgrade)
The issues still linger on non adjustable middle row seat back angle.
How would it compare with the Thar new 5 doors version?
Sir, any idea of any workshop who can fit turbocharger to Jimny? Thanks.
Mileage kitna??
Can we use it as regular usage
Has Force improve their after sale service too??
Best review and The best offroader....
Love it!
What’s missing is a more practical steering wheel with controls and slightly better interior 😅
Otherwise great job !
How is the performance of this car on highway. Do we get to hear the tyre noise while driving
Ok, not great, for highway but for bad roads it will reach destination earlier than even high end models because of wonderful suspension. I have travelled in these vehicles for 20+ years.
Thank you for your reply 👍👍
Terroble tractor engjne, yoh ding yead tyrd noise because you will hear loud tractor noise from engine
Proud to see made in India products getting world recognised.
Great design an seating much improved
Does the 3 door also get the updated engine option ? 👀
yes
The engine improvement is definitely worth praising. Good job force, next thing left is fit & finish, choice of material and comfort before this car etches its name for forever as a fan favourite.
Force makes good vehicles. Looks promising. One of my friend who has travel business purchased 8 Force Urbania ❤
Going through the review, this reminds me of SUVs from the 1990s.
It's actually crazy how they were ok with selling a product that's so terribly constructed from the inside.
Reminds me of our old car Trax in 1997. Just improved in all the respect
make it a 4 seater with captain seats. seats needs to recline too. Offer automatic variant , it's 2024. Add soft touch in some places , remove hard plastics and It will become no 1 in this segment. Also if they are not following 4 m rule then stretch it to 4.6 - 4.7 M then it will be REAL G-WAGON.
LOOKS LIKE A HONEST REVIEW 👏👌
Looks amazing! There will always be pros and cons. But, I think this seems good enough and to the mark. Power and torque seems good to go for. Features are pretty decent.
Is roof track legal for private vehicle?
For trips it is ok to use, but not for daily, few days ago I went to police station in Palampur to ask about this thing, as my wife with family wanted to go to Manali with our small Santro Xing, they said just for trip use and don't argue with police officers if they stop you. As I am foreigner, police officers always give good advices how not to get into troubles in India 😊so I went to Manali and all was ok. After trip I removed the carrier and waiting for the next trip, maybe with new Gurkha 🤩 but some people I see using these carriers daily, maybe you can use it daily if it is original, not universal
Wow, Force finally upgraded their 90hp traveler engine 😮. Hopefully it will give good competition to Thar and Jimny.
How is the leg space and head space Mr.Shumacher?
Why do car manufacturer want to use digital display if they cannot afford a good one?
Look at this 😢
It's definitely a deal breaker for anyone
Use analog one. Only odometer, differential lock, trip chart, fuel indicator and TPMS could have been digital
Few things i don't like in this vehicle
1. Head light day running light
2. Alloy wheels design
3. Front grill
4. Rear tail light
5. Steering wheel
For force break is always issue.. with hill control break will not strained during decent.. otherwise if you use break you aren't going to stop during decent..
This is a classic rugged real suv which many people have aspired for.
