    • @AGDinCA
      @AGDinCA 3 года назад +4

      It's rather questionable that the dog actually "talks." It is much more likely that the dog has learned a pattern of button presses that sound meaningful to us.

      @nNicok 3 года назад +4

      @@AGDinCA It's using the buttons to communicate. When it's in pain it says that needs help, and the where the pain is. Isn't that enough proof? It speaks about what's happening around it as well. Talking about the birds that are making a lot of noise and the bunny wants it to stop. Asking about their friends and if they can meet up. Asking to go outside and saying please when they are refused. Asking about the roar of the water under the house coming from the sea.
      They're using the buttons they have to communicate their desires and curiosities. Isn't that that the point of talking?

    • @pheenobarbidoll2016
      @pheenobarbidoll2016 3 года назад +1

      @@AGDinCA Not really. Dogs communicate with humans even without buttons. *We* require the spoken language. They don't.

    • @AGDinCA
      @AGDinCA 3 года назад +1

      @@BlackCoffeeee There is no animal on Earth that understands human emotions better than dogs. This is a scientific fact. So, it absolutely follows that we would be comfortable in taking the next step and believe that they can "talk" to us. In their own way, of course they do, and we generally understand them. But that is very different than saying they can "talk" to us using our own language. Well, English anyway.
      Either way, a strong sense of skepticism should be constantly maintained. Currently, this dog's behavior is being monitored by researchers, so we will see what comes of their studies.

    My favourite animal is the bumble bee, so my favourite thing like this is when scientists taught one to play a game like football. It had to roll a ball into a "goal" area, and if it did, it got sugar water as a treat. They let it back into its nest, and took another bee from the nest, and taught it the same game. It was much faster learning, because the first bee must have told the other bees about the game! That's when scientists knew they are more intelligent than was previously thought. Of course, social animals tend to be more intelligent than solitary ones, and bumbles are one of the two types of bee that live in a social colony (the other is honey bees).
    Also, they are just the cutest buzzy little fuzzy things ever. :D So adorable!

    They did not get that the monkey were shown numbers from 1 to 10 and then the numbers were blanked after a few milliseconds and still the monkey were able to point and remove the covering white squares in number order. This experiment shows something about the build up of the monkey´s brain. It are this extremely quick accurate observation of reality that allows monkeys to jump so fast in trees/branches. Faster than any human could alone for the reason that we do not have their capability to observe that fast. Evolutionary this ability have been a key way to survive. As an example. A panther are a natural enemy for monkeys in the wild and they are very agile. The monkey that fastest could get away from a panther survived. Pure Darwin.

      We are taught by our state-run schools that chimpanzees are random products of unguided evolution.
      We are also taught that we are the random products of unguided evolution.
      So based upon what we're taught in school there is no reason why we shouldn't eat each other either...
      Evolution is horrifying and sickening.
      How do you get to hell?
      Very simple: claim that you're innocent.
      How do you get to heaven?
      Very simple: Admit that you're not Innocent, you're guilty and ask for mercy.
      How to know if you're guilty or not?
      Simply: Compare your life to the Ten Commandments God gave you in the Bible.
      Everyone agrees that if people followed the ten commandments there would be no need for governments or police.
      Do not lie.
      Do not steal.
      Do not commit adultery.
      Do not insult God by using his name as a cuss word.
      There are six more but let's just leave it at that.
      How many lies have you told in your life?
      Have you ever taken anything that didn't belong to you?
      Jesus said, if you look at a women lustfully you've already committed adultery in your heart with that woman.
      How many times a day do you do that?
      Do you use God's name as a cuss word?
      Would you do that with your own mother's name?
      If you answer these questions honestly you know that you're guilty.
      God can justly punish you and send you to hell.

      Not really? A lot of animals are less intelligent than we give them credit for. Most animals - possibly only the octopus, gorilla, elephant, and chimpanzee - are not sapient. However, I think that animals are a lot more _sentient_ than we give them credit for. For example, if your dog does rips up your favorite socks it doesn't feel bad because it "knows" it did something wrong by ripping it up. As far as we can tell, dogs don't think like that at all. No, the reason it might give you a guilty look and seem to "ask" for your forgiveness is that it can tell you aren't happy and your dog very much wants you to be happy.
      Dogs are oftentimes more sensitive to human emotions than humans are and since we conflate "sapience" and "sentience" we tend to look at them as a lot smarter than they really are. In reality, they are kind of dumb but treat the people they love as their entire world.

A lot of the stuff that seems to make sense is hand picked video clips, and can be 'copying' based stuff. Theres no peer review of footage, nor any decent science being performed. Wish it wasnt so but i cant lie to myself. Do some googling and youll see, there also a good youtube video (something like 'Why KOKO cant talk') It really is not much more than a dog understanding and communicating. I literally ask if my dog wants to go to toilet. She barks if a yes. (a red heeler (cattle dog)). But its not understanding language. Big difference. Watch video and see.
