Let's have a look at how he lives from the land in his cabin and why he choose for this very special lifestyle.

Can I live with u.❤👍
WHY is this clip WITHOUT SOUND?
“Hey guys welcome to my crib” i wasn’t expecting that opening
literally was just gonna say that
So much respect for anyone who chooses to leave it all behind. So much respect for inner-strength and self-sufficiency.
yea...I was hippie and it was so EASY to live without electricity..Now people here laugh at me not having own oc and no mobile phone since 2008 and using 60 and 100 watt lamps and rationing it's use...But look at all those windmills and all adding of MORE AND MORE "Green" technology instead of rationing it..The lobbyists buying into people selling it as "green"
Some of these people are warriors in gardens. If you get that 🙏praise to you
This is what I want

Tot leaving anything behind. He is enjoying the good life.
I love how we don't hear about this guy anymore. Proves that he actually is living his life. We love you, Mark!
As I sit, watching my screen, enjoying the program, I wonder and question, if I could live the life he does. I have so much respect for anyone that can work that hard to live.
Believe it or not, it's actually easier to justify than getting up and working for someone you hate ✌️
I'm here today thinking I might have no other choice only to live like him given the current cost of living crisis 😄
Actually I think it's easier that working in a job you don't like
"This is the way we were meant to live"!
My husband and I are moving off grid in a couple of months here. I'm so sick of everyday life...to most people that sounds terrible but I just mean I want to have the work I do count. I want to have my husband feel good mentally and physically for the work he does and I want my children to not be self centered, ungrateful brats
I think every man feels like doing this in thier life time.
Yeah, im 34 & last few months have a strong urge to get away from society & try something like this. Just a bit afraid as its obviously a massive change for most people.
you would be very wrong, most are plugged in to their faux happiness, the Matrix.
@@nickuk911 Your urge will get stronger. You'll do it when you're ready. Just don't be 70! 😂😂
Amen brother. I've got the moneyless nailed down, just need the cabin.
And lots of women, too!
"...INDUSTRIAL society was wiping out LIFE ON EARTH... and the technologies that we use distract us from loved ones and nature..."... he is very wise.... he knows the truth!
There is enough food, but the money gap of the world is very lopsided and definitely humans have been whipping life out for a long time. At least in my country we have caps of hunting wildlife that change every year depending on estimated wildlife reserves. There are other countries who over fish if they dont slow down they will have a serious problem africa is one of them, but not of there governments lack of trying just lack of resources. Electronics yeah! The world is becoming addicts to them.
he's awake
he is based and ted pilled /s (kinda)
no, the truth is John 14:6
Never a truer word spoken.
This guy is my newest icon. After having an ego death on a mushroom trip, I felt something was very wrong with my life, felt so disconnected from nature. My goal is basically living like this more or less. Would like to make a small community out in the Norwegian wilderness.
Im happy he didnt deny the usefulness of tech, im of course torn between both as i need tech to live, with type 1 diabetes it would be almost impossible to sustain myself in such a lifestyle, but i loathe it this is the lifestyle i want to adopt but unfortunately i cannot. Mark is a real inspiration
Thumbs up from a Native across the pond 👍 He figured it out, then took his life in a glorious direction.
I love this life.....one day I shall have it
My first thought was to go find him on Instagram...oh wait... he won't be there. Haha! Luckily, my local library has his book.
What a beautiful way to live, this would be my dream.
This is how it's supposed to be its really our own faults for not living like this
Come find me that’s exactly what I’m doing I only still have the phone but wouldn’t mind to give that up either.
@@frederiksmees5503 Where do you live? I only ask as I've thought about this for awhile now but land in England to build on is very expensive.
Frederik Smees good for you that’s awesome. I spent many years living on a small holding as a child and through my teens in a remote part of Spain where my grandparents lived, I loved it. I live by the sea at the moment in England and it’s beautiful, I’ve downsized my house and sold most of my stuff, plus been saving hard in order in set up a new life because to start with it will cost money. It’s my dream to live again like this. I’m working hard towards it.
Clare Dodd Wales has land to build on Im looking into this
I like his humble honesty. So many insecure tradesmen or just salesmen make what they do sound alot more complicated than it actually is. It ain't rocket science lol.
WOW, I'm Irish and had no idea people are doing things like this. Would love to know what part of Ireland? I'd say it is awful hard with all that rain though to live like this. But sure our ancestors did so we've made it this far. Beautiful house. What a treasured human being.
He's in the West of Ireland. You'll find a lot of information about him if you research.
Wow this was soo interesting! I love the self reliance channel, but I feel like this guy takes it all even farther. Thanks for sharing julius. This was great content.
man, i love that wooden cup.
Same i kinda want to make one
My thoughts exactly!!! Watched video.....liked video....immediately bought Mark's book!!! Can't wait to read it this summer while I'm at the lake!!!
I have a lot of respect for him! I really admire his way of life.
me too..It was easy for me when i was hippie..But I feel vegan living should be part of agenda too...
Love the subtle editing. Really makes the guest shine!
Just bought three of his books on Amazon. Kindred spirits, we are. Thank you for introducing him.
Someone who gets the impossible position we've got ourselves into 👏
This guy knows the true meaning of life.
no thats John 14:6
@@Live442 🙏🏻🥰❤️
You're a good interviewer lad! An interesting video.
When I was a kid, we had a conventional house with an Aga. The laundry drying system is identical to what we used...
Thanks for this video, it's great to see a practical and simple lifestyle... We have watched some videos years ago about Mark, he was living in an old caravan near Bristol. He was trying to live a more sustainable life. Really glad to see that worked out for him as he kinda fell off the map, as it were, as to what he did next. Looking forward to watching the other interview. This is definitely the life we want too, working with and looking after nature. ♥️🌳🌲🌱🌻
And the question you stated "Why am I here." This is the Most important and critical question Everyone should ask themselves. What is My Why? Great perspectives Mark.
That is the most beautiful little house. Love your wood pile. Most people have no idea the amount of wood needed to get through a cold winter.
I think many people dream of a life like this Ik I do! ✌🏻🇨🇦
It is a hard, hard, exhausting life.
wow! He did an amazing job and you filmed it brilliantly. Very interesting video. Well done! ❤
I am new subscriber to your channel. I am a native New Yorker, lived in a big City and I'm passionate about the Earth and Nature. I definitely agree with the traditional approach to agriculture. There are new approaches to agriculture not just Organic crops but also treating the soil without tilling the soil. Thanks for sharing your video and story.
love your videos! you guys inspired me to make my first shelter with heated floors on my channel! thanks!
Thank you for sharing this video of a determined man modelling the possibility of living and surviving in the wilderness.
I wanna see a day with Mark Boyle, extraordinary life. From 🇦🇷 Argentina My greetings...
I love Mark Boyle and his philosophy on life, his home and property!!
Thanks for sharing guys. Currently on a trajectory to a similar way of living.
Also in beautiful Ireland. 🙏
What an interesting chap! Love his attitude!
good video of mark, you’re good interviewer Julius..! and i liked the wooden mug the most!
Very well done, there are a lot of people who would love to live like this in Australia again I say well done mate 🇦🇺🌏👍🍻🍺
This caban is my dream!!!!! I love it! What lucky guy! God bless you, mate!
GREETINGS FROM Bulgaria. Good job buddy
Great video . I just love the cabin is so rustic and the countryside surrounded the cabin with the vegetable plot is so great. He is so ecological minded and we do need more people living like this young man.
This is how we are ALL supposed to be living and it's really our own faults for not
Unfortunately if everyone upped sticks and left the cities to this, then there would be no wild areas left. Probably possible if there's only a few hundred million people on the planet, and then we'd be looking to make everything easier, more convenient and less dangerous again!
@@graememorrison333 well I can't wait till everyone dies and this earth gets its peace back
very very impressing video and lifestyle!! Thanks for sharing :)
Wow, that is beautiful!
Wauw great stuff! Lovely insights. Cant wait for the next mini-doc! Cheers
Great to hear buddy!:) Will share some inspiration in the New Year;)
This guy is an inspiration. I hope one day I can live like this
Great, thank you Mark! Congratulations on your insight and determination.
Nogmaals dank Julius. Ik heb het boek inmiddels gelezen en vond het inspirerend. Voor mij geld ook dat ik gelukkiger wordt door minder scherm en meer buiten activiteit. En als ik achter een scherm zit kijk ik graag naar jullie.
WOW such a beautiful cabin
Man this really hits home. I'm really at that point. Great video
and again a great work Jul. Thanks for your effort producing those fantastic videos, by far not a shabby w:-)rk
Your home is really comfortable and close by the nature. ❤❤I love it.
If I lived this way I would at least have a dog for a companion.
What would a dog eat over there? Potatoes and carrots?
He built this cabin with his girlfriend
He talks about ‘we’ all the time. He’s not lonely.
@@anacee what did dogs eat for all of time before dog food? Anything.
@@anacee He fishes
Loved this video. Thank you for sharing. This is my dream life.
I'm sure I'm not alone. He's living my dream.
Utterly amazing. Fair play to mark 👏
Stuff of dreams bro 👍
you did this one just brilliantly, thank you : )
Brilliant video with a very powerful and important message 👍
This is a man after my own heart.
Good job guys, enjoyed the interview . . . Ray, Oklahoma
It's good to meditate there such peaceful place.
What a beautiful Lifestyle ,its amazing to see your contentment of your own destiny!!☺☺☺☺👍👍👍
I love this! So envious.
Living the dream.
Great video, man. 👍
Hahaha my crib, HEYyyy lol my hot tub non existing. This guy gets humor.
Absolutely wonderful! I envy you. Something like this is my dream. Well done, sir!
Love his courage and words and philosophy. For sure, not for everyone, but if it works for him, kudos.
Guys and 👧, take the best of it. Key takeaway, have the courage to ask yourself the difficult questions and then act on your gut feeling, cause life flashes by so quickly. Enjoy the ride 🙏
Brilliant, an amazing cabin and lovely way to live.
I admire you. What a healthy life you are living.Greetings from Buenos Aires
i read his book and i am thinking of taking the plunge and living a similar lifestyle back in ireland very soon
Amazing house and I love his attitude and intelligence.
A couple of hundred years ago we all lived similar to this more simple way of life good video I agree with all he said
Sounds nice; I'm into living history re-enactment and traditional crafting so I'd like to give it a go but couldn't do it all myself. Just got rid of my smartphone and been sawing wood up for my support worker who has a log fire and says she hasn't had to buy any for ages!
I would so love to live like this. I hope to have the land to do so sometime 💚
great looking cabin . aint nothing like building your own cabin . the simple life is the best life . ev en without all of the luxieries of today. it may be a little hard sometimes but well worth it. keep videos coming. GOD BLESS.
Look. I gotta tell ya. I’m not crazy about technology either. But I do kinda dig electricity a little. I don’t mind a TV with a couple of channels and maybe a rotary phone and maybe a few other things.
But I respect this man.
I like a simple life. But not a very hard life.
Not to easy. Not to tough. Balanced.
I love watching these kinds of videos because this is my dream life. I am disabled so that makes my dream very unlikely.
I admire people who can live like this...I don't desire completely off grid put I do want to live with less technology and more simply...great video! 👌
Lovely this is i hope to do this in time mark is an inspiration to me for what he has done, ps great channel myman i need to follow you too keep up the great work peace n love
I want to do something like this. Cabin/homestead farm, permaculture garden and as much self-sufficiency as possible.
Absolute BOSS, I salute you my Sir..
Very interesting and unique video love it
Bliss! Totally resonates everything he said and yes 'Progress' is a killer.
To be “Fully Human”. Brilliant!
Great video. I'm working on a cabin from recycled lumber. When I'm there It's a totally different vibe and I love it! Great message!
Great video!
His writing style changed when he wrote his book by hand. I love His book, just an amazing piece of work.
Now this would be my dream, until then I’ll just get outdoors as much as I can awesome bud 👍
The Man has a good take on life , I'm from northern ireland shores of lough neagh
Love love love the cabin 😍😍
I would get lonely as I very much enjoy the company of my wife, children and friends but I do respect the way he’s living.
No one said you'd have to leave them all behind lol 😋
I very much agree with him,, going back to basics,, working the land,, eating from the land,, As a landscape gardener myself I grow fruit+veg for me+my family,, also for customers,,, If its possible for every single human being to do this,, the world would+could be Alot better place,,,,
Wow,very nice 😍 good luck man
This man is a Hero! A Super Hero!
To be so eco-friendly, self reliant, knowledgeable, and comfortable with his being alone! I find those qualities quite remarkable!
I love his books!
This is inspiring man!
Fantastic!
I know someone who bought an old single floor stables, took 14 years to add an upper floor, a wind turbine, a well, solar pv, a poly tunnel. He went all out to be sufficient as possible. The main barrier was the council planning department who blocked at every step. Eventually he became as sufficient as you can get living off grid and out of society. After a full year of working the land, growing food etc I asked him what it was like. He told me that he was tired out, working everyday day 7-11 there was always something to plan for, worry about and mitigate if anything went wrong. Plus he had the loans to pay off for the turbine etc
I was completely shocked a year later that he had taken an engineers job with PepsiCo
Great content excellent effects
