Any Arcade1up cab ever released should be made orderable online as either a deluxe, a slim deluxe, or an XL.
And Partycade or Countercade
I honestly have to agree that space is crucial and the four player games are rarely used with four players.
@@ernestosolano8966 True, I don’t use any of my 4 player games original control panels, I’ve upgraded to 99Lives 2 player conversion decks and they are game changers. Not only do they save space, they also look much better.
Instead of 1Up releasing more of this horrible looking slimmer design with that eyesore foot panel, give buyers the option of buying a 2 or 4 player control deck. We’ve come a long way from the Gen 1 cookie cutter cab designs, and they’re still improving. But the Slimcadey design is a HUGE step back.
The 2 player conversion is fine but I'm a side art guy and want these 3/4 scale themed cabinets to look as much like their real life counterparts as possible. Less side real estate means cropped or no side art and that's a deal breaker for me.
Thanks for taking one for the team Danny!
And it’s not as horrible as many are saying, had the original A1ups been like this, we wouldn’t know any better. That said, this is definitely a “gateway” cabinet and not for the hard core enthusiasts of the home arcade community.
Great review 👊🏻😎🕹️
thank you for the support buddy!
Great review cornercade! Love the new relaxed attitude, not too over the top happy. Enjoyed the video, thanks
@@grgmj1980 thank you buddy!
The art on this on is gorgeous. 🎉 If they did not do the slim form factor, most would love it, IMHO. I think that the slim FF has its place (saves space tat you usually don’t see), but having them along with the deep ones is too many form-factors, I would think. 🤔
They should just sell a 1/1 size for 1200 USD or something like it. I think it's marketable considering the plus expenses are mostly the monitor, a tad of wood, printing and shipping.
I hate this design. Thank you for being a guinea pig.
Haha anytime! 👊🏼
Great review Danny! Completely agree with every word of this review! CornerCade coming through with another BANGER!!! Let's Goooo!!!
@@udstyle Haha! LETS GO BRO! 👊🏼
Thanks for the review. This doesn't look too bad!
That's a great looking cab. It's not that big, and you can fit it anywhere.
Finally an actual hands on review. All the other ones I've seen are just mock up photos. Thank you!
@@TheJoejoez anytime! Thank you for watching 👊🏼
Good review but if this is Arcade1up's new form factor, I'm done buying their products. They've kind of forced me to stop buying their products anyway by not producing any new titles.
@@sls78.. appreciate the support! 👊🏼
Missed this one earlier...Good stuff man! 👊
@@richardabkstorm9009 thank you for checking out the video!
$299 and I’m in. Give me some of the older titles I missed out on in this form. Defender. !!
@@mikeb6323 agreed! 💯
It's not bad. I'd buy it, but I'm on my 2nd nba jam. I lose too much money selling cabs and replacing them! Having the deluxe version with the custom boss deck is bad ass and is here to stay.
@@TheBigb1973 oh for sure I would rather buy new exciting titles then keep buying the same games in new form factors it’s exhausting! 👊🏼
I’m 100% not into this design, they’re way too thin and absolutely goofy looking especially with that ugly ass front floor panel.
I truly hope that 1Up just keeps this as a 1 off with that horrible Casinocade. Look at other companies even Glens Retro coming out with new cabs and no one is talking about this silly skinny slimcadey design.
I don’t mean to be negative Danny but this form factor truly sucks. Push it against the wall next to all much better looking Deluxe/XL cabs and you’ll really see why this design makes zero sense. You might as well have a wallcade. Definitely not for me.
@@vicvicious7571 Vic Vicious thank you for the support and comment! You aren’t negative 👊🏼 not everyone has to like everything!
Can u please show a picture of the slim Cadey control panel on the NBA jam deluxe ...Im really curious to see if it fits and what it looks like....please and thank you!!
@@daviddeming1916 we sold the deluxe bud.. but it’s a different fit I believe because there are support panels on the build that are not on the deluxe. So the screw holes on the control panels may be different.
Good review… Terrible design. You already know what I’m gonna say. Drinking the hateraide on this one. 😂 Nothing will ever make this a good idea in my eyes. But again nice review.
@@GalagaGuy88 haha thank you for the support! 👊🏼
🤦🏽♂️ Still think this design is going in the wrong direction. Feels more like left over parts from the casinocade. Rebuying NBA Jam after taking the time and money to mod your first one🤪?! Your OG looks pimped out. You also left out a major fact… Your Slim Cade already broke! After how many days? An honest review would have mentioned that fact and would have been a major part of review. Enjoy your enthusiastic Danny and positivity.
@@hectoraleman thank you for the feedback 👊🏼 We got the Arcade to work again I dunno if it was a connection issue or what. Yeah I didn’t put that in there because I didn’t know if it was our fault or not. Once I plugged our light up coin doors in after the review it stopped working again. I think we will need a new PCB. Something dosent seem right.
@@TheCornerCade which is something that should have been mentioned and added to your review. Even a quick update at the end of everything if was prerecorded. A brand new cab breaking so quickly could point to quality control issues with a new product. Arcade1up isn’t the company they once were. This design is pointing to them cutting corners, literally.
Nice review. I was interested in seeing the difference.
I just want to see consistency.
for sure i hate rebuying cabs so they have the same size and for factor. Thank you for the support!
Monitor wise which one do you recommend between the Shaq one and this one? Great review!
@@TheRealChanclaVanDamme no question this one, the Shaq Jam XL and Golden Tee XL had some of the worst monitors to date.
@@TheCornerCade thank you! 🍻
I still can't believe you bought this piece of junk. Lol. Now it's broke. Just take it back and save the money for Pinball.
Yo Danny...on the new 2 player design can you play on the same team as eachother or can you only play against eachother now?
@@MikeofDR yes both they updated the software to pick between players 1 - 4 kinda dope!
Why are the sticks so clicky??
Yuck, always good job on the review though. Just yuck on the cab. Terrible lol
@@kullanma haha always appreciate the support my guy! Don’t worry pinball is coming soon and we’re all gonna go nuts! 👊🏼
All arcade one ups are sooo bad. And there not even cheap anymore. Get Real cabs and like a chelix for a multicade
@@nellen55 dude I’m really getting the itch for real arcades you have no idea!
@@TheCornerCade if you willing to learn and if this really is a hobbies you should not mind buying a cab and doing some work on it. The only thing that's kinda rough is doing work on a CRT but it's worth it. I never paid more then 500$ that includes a high speed pinball machine.
Give me the OG NBA JAM 4 player with a riser and 2 stools ANY DAY over this slim trash
Oof that looks terrible
7:26 Well uhh... Wasn't the point to put the foot on the pedel so it wouldnt rock as much?
Your wording suggested that maybe the foot pedel being there would stop the rocking, but it only works when the foot is actually there applying Pressure 😅
😂😂😂😂 You walked away like you proved something 😂😂😂😂
@@cMARVEL360 boss status 👊🏼🤣
