As always, lots of value in each of your videos! Thanks a lot for your work, Leon, much appreciated!
I'm pretty excited you posted this now, I spent a few days dusting off my dinosaur pcs and setting them up. Now I can put them to use haha.
There will be more on the way. I'm making a series of these videos for my "Designer" tier supporters on Patreon. For each video, after 6 or more months of exclusive access by my "Designers" my plan is to make the OpenVSP tutorials public. I've been making one each month so at least for the next 7 months you can expect an OpenVSP tutorial each month.
@@Designer103 I just discovered your channel a few months ago, and I have been planning on diving into the content and the website a little deeper.
I've been ill the last 4 years, but I may finally have my desktop work space and tvs in the house set up to where I can study and get some work done on sick days as well as days when I'm feeling more well.
I knew once I started browsing the website, I would begin to perseverate to learn, and unfortunately I could easily bite off more than I could chew. It would drive my wife nuts lol.
I certainly appreciate the content you have made available.
If I get a wild energy spurt and consume the content you have available for free, I will certainly sign up for the premium content or at minimum make a donation some how.
If it takes 5 years to learn it all, I will at least donate at some point, as it would take me far longer to buy the books and learn the old fashioned way.
I've sent several years off and on learning airplane design. So I know that approach works!
I'm having problem uploading an airfoil. I have saved it as a .dat file but the aerofoil just remains an ellipse when I upload it. It feels like it's not reading the file but I'm not sure why. please do you have any advice for this, can't seem to get any help online
If still relevant try moving it to ...\OpenVSP\airfoils folder. That fixed the problem for me
windows 7 ?
