Mellow is the sweetest girl. I have 2 females. One Lutino and one gray. The gray is very very loud, the Lutino is not. looking forward to seeing them together.

Thank you for saying that. I was expecting all cockatiels to be like Mellow. I think due to mutation Mellow is smaller than most cockatiels. Wellom is 2 months younger but I just noticed he's twice her size. I'm wondering if the pet store made a mistake about Wellom's age..

@@wh0a12 I got them on 22 July 2023, they were 5 months old at that time and wouldn't make a peep. Now, that they have grown they demand my presence in front of their eyes by screaming LOUDLY (both the male and female)

@@hareemfatima1662 Hehe they sound like a typical cockatiel alright. Wollem is 5 months old too and he's scared..Hopefully we'll get to where you're at soon..I just got to be more patient hahaha.

Wellom may be female. Looks young. Males are more vocal and cheeks darker. Mellow will grow and yes could be mutations. I feel they will be friends but it's good to let them have their own cages at night. Mine are out all day and the each get exactly what the other gets the may have spats but nothing dangerous. A pet shop owner told me they can kill each other and they are fierce.

@@calkatabi8855 yes, that is what I'm afraid of and it's why I don't want them to share a cage yet. I have been looking for a good vet doctor to get a DNA test but haven't found one with good reviews.
