As a lover of both techno (the actuaal underground club scene one) and modern (!) C64 scene stuff I very much agree. Despite being lucky to have all these very talented artists who in recent years continue the never ending stream of absolutely astonishing releases, the number of those engaging in pushing real techno stuff on the platform could be quite a bit bigger. But I'm gllad we have guys like Markus who go ahead and maybe showing the paths that others may eventually follow. Hope is there! He definitely demonstrates that the C64 is very capable of producing proper techno sounds. Before him there have been countless quite good attempts by other musicians but for me none of them seemed to want ot dive as deep as for instance this Album release which obviously was done with the club dj in mind form the start. Something really not too uncommon among musicicans in general ;) , just not on here before.
Next on nbc just a kid. Just one C64.. and a bunch of radio shack parts... this 14 year old nerd builds an ultimate android friend.. one kid one robot built from sid chips and computer bits... but when he tries to go up on stage and create the ultimate techno music band a group of government agents have better military ideas for the sidchip android and have plans to confiscate him... Will Benard be able to prevent them from taking sidchip??? stay tuned for this 1984 made for tv movie only on your local NBC station..
When I popped in my cartridge I just couldn't believe that was actually coming out of my C64.
Worked as intended then :) Thanks mate!
Hm. The menu music takes 8580 seconds to loop...
A nice touch :)
Cor blimey! I'd be lying if I said it was anything but a lucky coincidence. Amazing that! Thanks for figuring it out
This music has no place coming from a SID chip... it’ll get delusions of grandeur! 💕🎧💕😎
HAHAHA and this time it's even without samples or other dirty tricks.
This is indeed a nice and hypnotizing track. Awesome!
merci!
i want to see more, and others experienting in this manner, Markus RUleS

Yeaahhh - so good!
Try to listen to this without moving a leg or thumpin' your fingers...
Is there any per-channel scope video of this? Would love to see how the voices are used
Good idea, I'll do one.

What an extremely awesome track - probably my favorite! Amazing how you have somehow tricked the SID-chip into sounding super cool!
Appreciate the feedback! In case of this track, no special tricks were used, just experimenting with sounds etc...
Awesome SID Tunes from DJ Markus Klein /Lman ...
einfach nur Genial, kann ich mir jeden Tag anhören ..
Herzlichen Dank!!!
Interesting that it can be unique for so long.
U R a Genius. Abwechslungsreicher als viele Mark Monoton Abende ;) cooler und grooviger Grundsound.
Danke für's Feedback mein Freund. Hahah ja das war manchmal echt übelst monoton.
This is better than coffee (during programming :)
My retro wizard, love it as always ! ;)))
*humbly bows*
Lovely
Groovy and amazing, as always!
Thanks a lot!!

There is NO WAY that this is the REAL Menu that shows up on a C64 Screen??? it cannot display that many colors nor HiRes...so what is that Menu?
You are correct, this is the menu *music* only.
You can see the actual menu here: ruclips.net/video/-N_BYKqIqAA/видео.html
