Just another reason why I love the cleaver writing in the shows Angel and Buffy, because of how witty and how many meanings there can be even in such small scenes of dialogue.

One thing that I never understood was how did Willow not feel Jasmine's power when she went to visit "Cordelia", like I know she said if only it was a few weeks later. But surely she still would have felt a presence. Willow even stated herself in Buffy when she took the magic out of Giles that she could feel all life on earth. I know as well that it has to continue throughout the show but surely she would have felt something
I dont think she still had that borrowed witch power from Giles she gave it back when she went to England with him...she still has her "Dark Willow" magic she drained from the books.
She has all the power she took the coven just showed her how to control it. Willow is the strongest witch in the buffy universe they even called her a goddess at one point. She can go dark again she had to learn to keep her emotions in check.
Considering Joss Whedon has been outed for mistreatment of cast, like how Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia) was written off the show the way she was, and Sarah Michelle Gellar (Buffy) also confirmed the toxic environment … it would be nearly impossible or at least very difficult to bring this show back.
@@ChestHighWalls Cordy was already a demon before getting pregnant with Jasmine and she came back different from Heaven or whatever it was. The human Cordy never would have dated Conner much less had a kid with him. Cordy was already evil by then.
Willow got destroyed by Glory in that fight. She didn’t fight her off at all. Willow went all crazy and attacked her, caused her a few seconds of pain then got her ass handed to her without Glory even trying. That fight is more of a testament to Glory rather than Willow. If Jasmine was at her peak with her planetary mind control Willow would be no match. Here in Cordelia’s body Jasmine was at her weakest by far.

Words cannot express how much I hated Connor. Angel having a child was fine but aging him the way they did into who they did and with that AWFUL storyline with the painfully butchered and assassinated Cordy (which will never be forgivable) was 100% terrible from every angle. The only good episodes in S4 is the Angelus arc, purely because Angelus is ALWAYS fun and the cameos of Faith and Willow were genuinely great. You could tell the difference in the actors giving more too...like "oh, OK, finally good writing"
Connor was stolen and raised in a hell dimension where time moves faster which is why he was angry all the time. He was so feared he was known as the destroyer. The only time he found peace was when Angel recreated his memories although he did get his old ones back though.
We all know Willow was holding back her dark side. If she truly went dark here, they wouldnt have stand a chance. Ppl underestimate how powerful Willow was at this point.
Wrong title. It should be "Willow vs Jasmine possessing Cordelia which was a terrible storyline that completely took the agency from one of my favorite buffyverse characters". Yup, I am extremely salty about this, and even more so when I learned it wasn't even done for plot reasons but to get back at Charisma for getting pregnant. I'll just mention that I did like alot of the ideas of season 4, Jasmine was an excellent villain IMO, and Angelus and Faith's return were also extremely fun to watch. Oh and Connor getting the s*** beat out of him by Faith.
Cordelia was going to turn evil one way or another, if that makes you feel better. She was suppose to be that seasons main villain like Willow was on Buffy but the pregnancy severely limited that plan. Evil Cordy was going to be like Illyria but it never came to be.

The entire Jasmine plot line along with Connor is some of the worst garbage writing I've had to sit through. Really don't know what they were thinking, but at least they redeemed themselves with the final season although I hate how they treated Charisma Carpenter.
After Season 3 they treated Charisma/Cordi pretty bad and changed her totally she was so much fun for 3 Seasons then she acted out out of character only in the last few Episodes when they killed her off for good she acted again like the old fun cordiela. It was Joss Whedon who had a problem with her for unknown reasons...but its not proffesional of him.
K admittedly Jazmine was not close to full power, but I’d argue that even Willow was far from her true power here. This was before she learned how to perform white light spells that were like a galaxy ahead of her dark rituals that already came close to burning the earth to ash. Also, she was mildly annoyed and determined and already pushing back with enough force to cause the whole building to shake. If she were gassed up like after watching Tara die and then consuming that drug shaman guy I think even Jazmine would be taking a dramatic gulp and be like 😳
I actually feel that Willow was more powerful here than when she went apeshit. Darth Rosenburg was all rage, pain and borrowed magic. No kind of focus. Here she is using the knowledge taught to her by the coven from England. Keeping her composure while dealing with the unknown.
@@Lord_Bibulous I definitely agree on the knowledge and composure and I totally forgot about the stint with the English coven. Thanks! This show had a lot of high points, and even season 4 had some great moments. But everyone with Cordy this season was just character murder, and the whole deus ex kind of mess Jasmine came in on. It was just a mess. It's really a crime. Season 4 is why Buffy remains the better series.

I know as well that it has to continue throughout the show but surely she would have felt something
I dont think she still had that borrowed witch power from Giles she gave it back when she went to England with him...she still has her "Dark Willow" magic she drained from the books.
Maybe being inside a human body helped hide it.
She has all the power she took the coven just showed her how to control it. Willow is the strongest witch in the buffy universe they even called her a goddess at one point. She can go dark again she had to learn to keep her emotions in check.
Good question.
"Smash or crash": the synopsis of pretty much all my romantic relationships...
I love cor but we all have to admit it willow is the better witch.
Even without Jasmine in Cordy’s body getting distracted I think she still would’ve lost to Willow
Lucky Willow didn't go FULL dark, that whole plane of existence may have gotten destroyed
Remember when Cordelia came up to Willow and said "It's Good You've Seen The Softer Side Of Sears" ?..............
Man how i ❤❤❤ this please bring these episode back please.
Charisma, Alex, and the actor that plays Willow look great!
What??? You don't know Alyson Hannigan's name??
@@shamsqasr6173 nope
Charisma looks gorgeous!
This show was amazing
This should of ended with Willow winning because now I remember how much I hate Connor. Lmao
It wasnt cordelia !
Of course willow one
It was !
@@zachbraxton1997 It was Jasmine in this scene.
@@ChestHighWalls Cordy was already a demon before getting pregnant with Jasmine and she came back different from Heaven or whatever it was. The human Cordy never would have dated Conner much less had a kid with him. Cordy was already evil by then.
Jasmine really thought she had a shot. Like come on! Willow fought off a Hell God and her temptation to dark magic. Jasmine had no chance.
Don't force.
Especially not with those cheap parlor tricks
Willow got destroyed by Glory in that fight. She didn’t fight her off at all. Willow went all crazy and attacked her, caused her a few seconds of pain then got her ass handed to her without Glory even trying. That fight is more of a testament to Glory rather than Willow. If Jasmine was at her peak with her planetary mind control Willow would be no match. Here in Cordelia’s body Jasmine was at her weakest by far.
Jasmine in her true form would most likely destroy Willow. She is much more powerful. Don't get me wrong Willow is powerful but even D'Hoffryn can go things she can't.
@@TheJayden3977 bye sis willow is planetary did u not remember her destroying the world plz- in the comics willow is multiversal i-
2:33 when they try illusion magic but you’re much higher level
Cordelia had one of the best character developments of any tv show and to piss on it. Im still not over it
The passion of the nerd
Imagine dark willow holy crap cordelia would’ve lost in a second
If both girls were still pre-powers Cordy would smack Willow to the floor
Willow made a god scream in pain and then, she was almost a goddess, waking up all the slayers in the world. She has too much power for Cordy.
Could you upload Kendra death please ? Btw I'm so glad to see there are still channels who make videos about Buffy and Angel
Also how about Bianca Lawson playing teenagers for over twenty years lol gorgeous woman who apparently doesn't age
Girls Power!❤✊🏿
My fav season of angel
Still sad Willow and Cordy didnt have an ACTUAL reunion :/
They hate each other
@@zachbraxton1997 they didn't.
@@calsh14 yes they do
@@zachbraxton1997 you clearly haven't watched ANY of Buffy or Angel.
@@calsh14 you clearly don't remember the end of season 3 where they left off on less than amicable terms after the multi episode arc of she and Xander cheating on their significant others with each other as she and xander almost did the deed as Cordy and Oz were coming to rescue them from spike
Willow would toss Cordelia around even on her worst day
Cody would win in an old fashioned schoolgirl slap fight
Willow striking that Frieza pose
I need to watch this series
Conner was such a dope fir fling for evil cordy
Willow is practically a nexus being
Nice MCU reference 👍
The funny part is that they made cordie a believable actress, she tried so hard to get those commercial gigs
Willow in Sunnydale: I can't do magick or I'll turn evil!
Willow in LA; Hold my Ether
The hell mouth and the first were in Sunnydale, so yeah. She was safer with her powers in LA
I've...bit my tounge 😂😂
Connor was so stupid in this season! 🙄
Travis Bennett Connor is just the worst.
This season.....and last season......and the seaso. After this season...
Tactic Wave nah. Connor was actually pretty cool in the two episodes he was in of season 5.
@@lucadeeley8377 yeah because in one he didnt know who he was. Complete character wipe. The other one he just wanted to help. But his voice will forever be stained for me
@@tacticwave3856 ya I was gonna say...Connor always sucked. He basically ruined the show. I'm sorry to anyone who liked him (if anyone who did exists), but I thought he was godawful.
Will ain't slick checking out Fred
Thanks! My fave Willow power feat is still her final spell in the Buffy series. Seeing her ascend to white light was such a joyful way to close her arc. 💖 I tried to give the season 8 comic a shot, but seeing Willow actually struggle against Amy after then going on to have private magic instruction with the serpent goddess lover entity was so confounding. I can't remember how they juiced Amy up so much, but I was like "nope." Amy should not even be on the radar of adversaries at this point. 😂
If u think about it despite jasmine not being at full power she still has all the eons of knowledge and experience skill more than willow being an elder god.
@@Lord_Bibulous But she held back since loosing control she was afraid of the power she had and that she couldn't control it, she had the potential but she didn't release that until the end of buffy
@@davlin7685
But in saying that Jasmine here is by far at her weakest, yet only lost because of circumstance (Connor distracting her). As far as the live canon goes Willow (not even Dark Willow) would be a match for Jasmine’s thrall as she is still human and has no feats against Jasmine’s insane mind control.
Yo…..I forgot how she got that baby! Lmao this show was crazier than Buffy lmO
Yeah..that was kinda gross
What’s funny is that willow was holding back, she has been scared to go all out since going dark. I prefer dark willow anyways.
You wanna GO Glinda?!😂😂
Faith is like a dark haired Buffy.
Faith is cooler than Buffy
@@zachbraxton1997 not in a million Years, she was just a brat calling out for attention, Buffy was childish un the begining just because she was starting her process.
@@giovannyandrescortesrodrig2846 I don't mean cool as in which one was more successful, I mean cool as in which one I would rather go to a party with.
Love your channel! Can you post faith vs the beast and faith vs spike and the vampire from S7?
When you realize Connor is Pete Campbell.
Can you upload the video where Cordelia finds out from Willow that Harmony is a vampire (and subsequently Willow is a lesbian)?
Now why didn’t Willow do all that against the first/bringers in season 7… why was she benched all season long
Because she was recovering from the dark magic she did in season 6, and her coven retreat with Giles in season 7. Buffy described her as a “Wicca who won’t-a” so Willow was simply hesitant to escalate her magical powers in fear of going dark again.
Was this before or after Willow's dark phase?
let s be hoonest :p cordelia had a very big luck to not fight dark willow :p
This show had a lot of high points, and even season 4 had some great moments. But everyone with Cordy this season was just character murder, and the whole deus ex kind of mess Jasmine came in on. It was just a mess. It's really a crime.
Season 4 is why Buffy remains the better series.
Do you want to go Glenda that shit was funny
Fred and willow are cute together.
Willow rules lol
Seeing all these Willow beat cordie but that was never Cordelia that was always jasmine
That was never fully confirmed, Cordy hints that it was her but she was seduced by the power and her mothering instincts.
Willow’s spells 1:07 1:44 2:37
To be honest that wasn't enough cordy anymore she was dead. This was Jasmine
It wasn't the first time Willow fought one of her friends.
It would be cool if xsnder crossed over to la but he was needed with buffy
What season of Buffy is this? I watched the entire series once almost 12 years ago.
This is from Angel, Season 4. The episode is titled Orpheus.
