Darin has a Taiwanese folder. They do not use the "big 2" control companies for their controllers. Thusly, they all work different, and you have to call the usually LAME company for specific help. Sorry Darin, but that is the truth.
What if the problem isn't in the throttling unit. I opened the chassie & discovered a Mother Board type casing behind the Battery compartment. I thought of air blasting it to remove dirt. Hopefully it will work & keep it from stalling. 🙏
Whst does it mean my joystick I replaced onto my 5 year old quantum chair.....I received the joystick from ebay for 70.00 as my original one was falling apart and then it burned up as it was charging the next morning no it wouldn't come on total black screen....then we replaced with the joystick and it comes on but it's a picture of a wheelchair on the left and a square zero that moves from left to right constantly
We plugged up the charger in a red light came on and we unplugged and still stays on so any suggestions what I need to look for thank you my name is Richard

Another problem just arose, chair is almost fully charged (1 green lite) and not able to climb ramp, it just stops, never done that in 1 1/2 yrs, always climbed even at slow speed, Batteries are 6 months old, any ideas as to the cause? by the way joystick working fine, froze a few times but was able to reset it by pushing horn button a few times like you had said
Hi frank, my Permobil f5 is showing an error 1202 dual joystick error, and the lights of the attendant joystick look like a Christmas tree...do you have an idea of what can be happening?
The amount of times the lights flash or the number of leds that flash is your error code. JoystickRepair.com has these codes for the different joysticks.
My joystick on the Pride vogue wheelchair flashes constantly. no code. All LEDs except the last 2 green ones flash very quickly. Does anyone have any idea what could be. unfortunately no operating instructions.
An 8 bar flash means a control system trip. So it could be either the joystick or the module. Check the connections between them. If connections are good, most likely a module failure. We can usually repair that. Frank 1800 717 1252
I would try putting 24 volts directly to the actuator and bring it down. If that works for you, then i would investigate the limit switch for the seat lift. Frank 1800 717 1252

I bought a new four wheeled scooter from Pride Mobility, it's still in the box. I was searching previously for where to buy my scooter and came across Marc's Mobility you should probably know of. Someone in the comment section said that he worked on Pride scooters and I don't know whether to believe that. I never responded. He said the Pride scooters have electrical problems? I want to ask you if or what you may know about my scooter that I should know? I have other questions also because it's been in the box for months. Does motor case need to be oiled, do I charge the batteries the first time before I use it? I would appreciate some advice. Thank you.

I still do not know exactly which joystick you are using on your Quantum. There is a label on the bottom of the joystick with the model number. In general, for a PG drives, 7 flash means a joystick inductive fault.

It is possible that your motor brushes are in need of being replaced. Does the joystick make any flashes when it just stops? Frank

Hi Frank, my quantum 600 joystick is flashing its 2 lowest bars of battery indicators. The battery is already fully charged. What does it mean?
what type of joystick is on it? Are the bars on a lcd screen, or led bars?
