I saw in other comments you didn't plan on a series but please post more on this modpack. There are no other creators making stuff for Prom II and its very helpful to see experienced players trying out the modpack.

1.20 is really looking like a big resurgence in modded MC. So many old mods coming back and some interesting and cool new stuff.
I think so too. Many jumped on 1.18.5 which had great coverage then skipped to 1.20 where things seemed to have stabilized. All the modders seem to have adapted to the new more rapid release cycles by now. Mojang is not making it easy.
@@jangrogames looking in curse forge many seem to have gone from 1.12 to 1.20. Then you have even older stuff that ain't been seen in like 8 years. Found your channel looking for 1.20 mod pack overviews.
@@knives357 1.12 was definitely the heyday. 1.16.5 was probably the best coverage since then. It’ll be amazing if a bunch of the old ones make it to 1.20! Glad you found me! Thanks for being here :)
I tried Prominence 1 and my computer lagged so bad! I could play for 5-10 minutes before getting a game-crashing lag spike. Trying Prominence 2 now because it has fewer mods. Gutted it doesn't have twilight forest, excited for the story though.
Yeah, Twilight Forest hasn't made it to 1.20 yet on Fabric. TF is great, but if you've beat it once... there is some good loot though.

You must allocate more ram if you did not. At least 8 or 9gb, if you have enough.
I had 6.2G for this pack while recording this video. More RAM might be the issue, but with Java it’s possible to allocate too much. Just leave enough for Windows!
@@BobYeeterson I allocated 8.5gb but I play on a laptop so I think my laptop just couldn't handle it.

It didn't occur to me while playing, but watching this I realized the mobs outside of the prison quarters are from Dead Cells!
Yeah the whole prison is a mod based on Dead Cells, called Mine Cells
Been streaming this mod on twitch and loving it. As of now I've been trying to find the other dimensions, but so far I've only found the prison portal. Also, I didn't even know there was bosses in the prison portal so now I'm gonna have to get some good gear and go back lol. Hopefully though, I can find the other dimensions and get some good stuff from them

Ive played minecraft a long time ago ever since it came out on mobile as well, but never sticked too much, so im technically a newbie.

Hey Jangro, what shaders do you use? it looks performance-friendly.
I pretty much always use complimentary reimagined. My PC is pretty good but I’ve used them in older gaming laptops and they work well.
finally figured out how to host a fabric server on my own hardware, is their a resource pack that comes with the mod?
There are several but this is a whole pack full of mods and configs, etc. that you need to install on the server.
On the client, you'll just want to install the modpack using curseforge or something.

Are you able to reset your skill tree?
The second tab (the darkness icon) in the skill window allows you to take back skill points apparently. I haven't used it. I don't know if there's a command to do it, but hopefully that steers you in the right direction!
yee I played it not to far to know what this entangles but it looks good so far not like one of those modpacks where the mobs are really op and unbalaced looks like more well made than others and I am down for quests and lore!

Indeed it is! There are other game references too like some WoW weapons.
Idk if it's good but at the start of the game I found night vision, just gives me infinite night vision.

Things may have changed since this video, but no. I prefer not to use that, but I don't think there was anything.

Awesome! If you get a server from a hosting provider be sure to buy it through some partner link. I have one for sticky piston, the modpack has one, each mod has one… support someone!

No. I'm going to be restarting this pack again soon since they've updated it so much. Maybe do another video, or even series
How do you install this for fabric? I cant seem to figure it out or find any videos on how to.
You should use a launcher like AT Launcher, Modrinth, or Curseforge. They do all the work for you.
how do you launch the game? me and my friends have tried to launch it from curseforge but we keep getting a game crash just from hitting play.
Hey. I use curseforge. Sometimes curseforge is just broken. You can try reinstalling or try another launcher like Modrinth or ATLauncher.
There seem to have been a lot of changes in 3 weeks or maybe 2 months depending on when you recorded 😁
I recorded on the latest version at the time just the few days before i uploaded. That’s definitely a thing with Lunar. Their packs change a lot!

You can tame drakes. I believe it requires chupacabra skewers (another mythic mob that you can find at night). Haven't done it though!

@@jangrogames Yo, turns out around the time I suggested the modpack, a update went out that made the pack not launch and it was not fixed for a few days until the pack was updated again.
I hope this bad timing didnt ruin my suggestion
can this work for a low end pc??
This is honestly one of the biggest modpacks there is, but it's on Fabric, so that's good for performance. And it is a very well optimized pack. With enough tweaks to video settings I would guess you can. Of course that depends on how "low end" it is, and how much tolerance you have for FPS drops. :)
Are there origins in this modpack?
There are no origins in this pack. At least not as of now. That could change.
The pack looks like it's been improving a lot over time. I was watching someone else play it, but he randomly deleted all the videos before I could catch up. I'm always baffled when mods just rip sounds from other games; all the sounds from Dead Cells are just copy pasted.
Definitely improved over better MC. Yeah that’s no good if the sounds were ripped. I played dead cells a bit but don’t really remember. Wonder why the videos got deleted.
What are the minimum spec requirements?
Never mind, this mod is optimised beautifully and runs completely fine on my gtx1050ti i7 2600k and 12gb ram

Texture pack and Shaders name ?
I'm playing with complimentary reimagined shaders, which comes with the pack. There are two others, Insanity and Pastel. Insanity has a dreary Skyrim feel, which could be fun to play with but I didn't think it would be good for a video. As for resource packs, there are many and I think the main one is custom by the pack devs. I'm just using what's installed with the mod pack tbh.

I won't even bother with this pack for the simple reason if you want to play with friends, you need to join a server or pay for it they force you. You can't use essential with this

This pack does have free community servers available to join right in the servers menu by default.
I tried to play on my MacBook M1 Air but whenever I try to create a new world it crashes and gives me Exit Code 6, please help 🥲
Exit code 6 doesn't really say anything. The real info is in the crash report, which we obviously can't troubleshoot here! I'd suggest checking in the modpack's discord to see if anyone has reported it working or not with M1 macs, or someone may be able to help you look at the crash report. Good luck. Getting mods working on macs can be problematic!
