Working through your back catalog - how does this video feel now?! You mention your excitement at 40 subscribers in this one! Over 10k now and you've got even more eyeballs and fans!
It feels so unreal to be over 10,000. Like it’s something I wanted but I had no idea if it was possible. It feels like getting an “A” on a test I studied really hard for.
I didn’t watch this video at first because I assumed it was only a tutorial. A tutorial for a 2x2 rib leg warmers. Silly me I am glad I watched it know after seeing the video where you talk about comments. So glad I did. Enjoyed it! ❤
Ohhh I love this idea so much. Simple rib in the round? Yes please! This is like, stash buster/quick gift idea. You could also wear them as wrist warmers, like put a hole in the side for your thumb and it wouldn't affect anything. But I know from your Rachel sweater video you don't like stuff around your wrists, but it's an idea!
New crocheter here!! I would love it if you made a video about how to wind your yarn in a way that makes sense for project creation! I have bought a few things of yarn and they just end up being a tangled mess. Would love any tips and tricks to getting that perfect spool of yarn! Your videos are so calming, thanks for sharing this part of your life with the world!
Definitely! I have a yarn ball winder and I use that for anything that comes in the form of a “hank” (google image search that if you haven’t seen one yet, they’re pretty). But for most yarn I buy, I just make sure to pull the yarn from the outside and not the inside. There’s much controversy on this but I find I get fewer tangles that way. :)
@@BreathingYarn Ahhh yes, the yarn that I'm working with now came in a hank and now its a bit chaotic to work with mid project haha I started another project from the inside and it did become tangled a lot sooner than the one where I started it on the outside of the yarn. Good tip! Thank you!
The first time I used a hank, I tried to use it without winding it into a ball first, last time I ever made that mistake lol. It took a whole weekend to untangle 🤣 @@narkmoop
Tell me why I never thought to use leg warmers… I have this exact same problem with new boots. Also looking to use my stash up. Now all I need to do is cast on a new project that I have no business casting on 😅
Love this chill knitting and the nature shots. Do you need a roommate lol your spot is gorgeous and I'm jealous. I live in the PNW too but not in such a pretty place. And I like your cat. Also the legwarmers. I didn't realize you can wear them under pants for some reason and now they make more sense.
I am from Russia, so it's kinda cold in here in winter and I have to wear socks and warm boots. It becomes a huge problem when I am at uni, because my legs get too warm throughout classes. I think having leg warmers is a great idea! Yours look so cute and comfy, I am glad that I got recommended this video by youtube. I am also surprised that you don't have a lot of subscribers. The quality of your video is really nice! Good luck with your projects! You've got a new subscriber
When I went to university, it would be -20C for much of the winter. I bet in Russia it is even colder! I always hated how my feet were always too cold walking to class then too warm once I was inside.
@BreathingYarn It gets even colder than that from time to time, but it is mostly -12/-15C in my city. However, humidity is VERY high due to the Gulf of Finland and the river Neva being like 10m awat from you. Wind is also merciless. I used to live in Siberia, and the weather wasn't so cruel even back there😅 I guess the problem of cold-but-warm feet is universal :)
Hey girl! I'm a fairly good crocheter but I am still trying to get comfortable with knitting. Your video was suggested to me, and I like to watch content similar to yours. When you said you had 40 subscribers I was shocked! I've thought about making videos like this myself but have no idea on how to go about it. Besides that, great job! Your video honestly feels like other people I've watched that have 100,000 or more subscribers!
Oh my gosh, thanks 🥹 It’s like the meme “get you a girl who can do both” 😂 knitting is great because once you get comfortable with the basics, you can do anything! Now that I think about it, the same can probably be said for crochet.
I remember very well the day I, almost by accident, clicked in your "perks of being a wallflower top" video. I didn't notice your channel was new until I finished the video and liked it. I was super susprised because the quality was amazing! Believe me, you are going to be very big!! (And i will brag about being one of your first suscribers). Keep working as hard toward your dreams! ❤
These are so cute!! I absolutely love them and I’m inspired to make a pair!! I thoroughly enjoyed your video! It was very soothing and I loved listening to your thoughts while knitting!

ive never thought of using leg warmers to stop boots from hurting, ill definetly be trying this!
I wasn’t sure if they would help, but I’ve been wearing them for about two weeks now and I’m ready to cast on a second pair!

I've actually been looking to make some fingerless mittens for next winter. Thanks for the idea!!!

@@BreathingYarn hahaha I spent a solid two hours untangling mine! It was a good task to do while listening to an audiobook!
