Budokan is very important for BABYMETAL, not just because the importance of the venue itself in Japanese history, but also because they played 2 shows here (Red Night and Black Night) in early 2014 which were the shows to launch their first album, as well as to “depart” for their first World Tour.
Who the hell~ walks into BUDOKAN at age 14(YUI and MOA) (SU-METAL was 16) and changes history? In March 2014, Babymetal performed in front of 20,000 people at the legendary Budokan venue - setting a record for being the youngest female fronted band to ever sell out Nippon Budokan on two consecutive nights. If you've played the LEGENDARY BUDOKAN, you have made it. If you've played a sold-out TOKYO DOME 55,000 SEAT STADIUM two nights in a row ( SEPT 19-20 2016 ) - - you are immortal!
Lots of bands have video walls at their concerts, but only Babymetal has a video dancefloor.
Well done spoting them being knocked down and helping each other to get up and fight on . The mv to this has more of a story to it and meaning, but live is best . Believe it or not, the audience was a bit more subdued at this performance! Done during covid with a lot of restrictions in place, limited audience, and what they could do, but still incredible response from them 👍try watch Roàd of Resistance live in Japan or Megitsune live performance to see exactly what can happen 😁🤘🏼🦊🤘🏼

I've followed Babymetal for years and this is the first time I've heard this statement. Help me out here. Where did you get this info? It's interesting to me. I like to learn new things about them. I keep telling folks you could read novels about them and still not know all there is to know about them.
