My old brakes became weak and I couldn’t wheelie good. As soon as I got these brakes they felt more powerful and a little bit more controllable it was worth it for me because I love wheelies.

@@wearemusicgroup9633 this number plate is from a YZ 85 2020 I think. I don’t know if they will fit on a surron fork because I have dirtbike forts on my bike so the number plate, fender and Fork guards are made for these forks.
how did you get the cable out from underneath? I can get the caliper out but the cable is still under the battery base plate thing. I lifted it up and the caliper fits out like you did but my cable is still trapped under.
Yes they do come with the brake pads. I gotta forks from offer up. People part out dirt bikes and sell parts. Try to get a different brand forks like CR 80 or rm80 forks because the YZ80 forks were $400 and the break caliper and mount it’s $200 🤯 too much with other forks you can probably get The front brake way cheap. My forks with the brakes and plastics came out $800 too much could’ve bought a used fox 40

I only needed one set because I have different brakes in the front but your going to need two but what I seen on RUclips hope brakes are better if you’re driving really fast and breaking all the time they won’t overheat as fast. but I had no problems with my Brakes.
Instead of spending hundreds of hours trying to make your Sur Ron look like a dirt bike why don’t you sell the Sur Ron without the motor and battery and just buy a complete 85 with a blown engine and replace the blown engine with the (72v or 36v) motor and battery from the Sur Ron
My forks broke and I’m not spending $1800 on Fox 40s so I bought YZ 80 forks now it looks like a dirtbike. You got a good point but converting YZ 80 into electric will be way different than this thing and I will be getting in trouble by cops on the road. if I can restart i’ll probably do what you said
lol hundreds of hours?? It would be way more time to convert a dirt bike into electric and would involve lots of fab work etc... vs a few bolt on mods.
@@SweeTM8-you cannot get away with riding a dirtbike on the street for a year. You could get away with it now and again. With a surron you can get away with riding on the street whenever as long as they arnt being dumb

Great upgrade no doubt but one crash and the levers will be broken. What is the lever material?

Magura makes most of there levers out of carbotechture which is supposed imitate carbon fiber
Hopes are better , but magura is definitely an upgrade 💪
You can cut the line without bleeding the whole system, there is a video somewhere.

lift up the battery bottom plate all the way up I guess I’m not sure I did it along time ago maybe there’s something else holding it. Good luck

I think the 5's suck, I had them they are soft. I went 7's nd they are soo good
But the mt5s atleast better than the stock even the stock with upgraded pad
Are brake fluid reservoirs not need with the MT5s?
I don’t know I bought my brakes put them on the bike that’s all I did

the mt5e come with a built in cut off sensor. But most people don't use them on a sur ron anyway.
