Haha AWESOME video!!! Glad to see a perfect video put together with great footage and no music. Plus some young guys just out having a blast in the bush like they should be versus playing video games indoors you’re well on your way to being a true outdoorsman!! Then to top it off running older, small cc quads!!!! no need for the big 800 or 1000 vtwins!!! I’m much older than you guys but these are the quads that I used to ride all the time in the winter so many fond memories I still ride I just don’t have a little machines like that anymore but I was just saying I wanted to get one again. When I was running 300s and 400 cc machines we were running 26 inch tires with studs in them and the studs made a huge difference in the snow and ice. Back then people ran wider 10 and 12 inch tires but I think tall and skinny is the way to go with studs. I bet you those things would go really good because I don’t think you’re really floating on the snow much when you’re driving faster speeds so the skinny tires don’t plough as much. Ha ha I love the saws all never seen that before on the trail might want to get yourselves an old vintage top handle chainsaw like a Homelite XL or a Poulan XXV. Either one of those chainsaws would make short work of those trees you were cutting. Make sure you keep those cabins nice and tidy and be careful you don’t burn them down lol. One little tip I can give you for burning wood is always try and cut down dead standing firewood don’t cut green a lot of young fellows don’t realize this they think they can burn Greenwood but even if it does burn, it doesn’t put out much heat, make sure you don’t see any green needles on the tree and then you’ll know it’s dead. But if you have no choice and you have to cut down a tree, that’s a bit green or not totally dead yet even if it is dead a little trick, I do is I cut the wood into little cookies about 1 inch wide not only will it burn better, but it will also dry out fast if you put it near the stove. the difference is you will actually have real rebound and compression and you can preload the suspension so you can get poppy floaty jumps if you want. its the way surron shoud have done their suspension and forks from the get go. soon they will probably get their own dirt bike suspension with their bikes which will be the same. the ktm wp forks are actually air forks with compression and rebound i believe, i never raced or rode ktms, i was always yamaha and honda and kawi on 60s and 80s.

Show how you did the head set. I made a 1 piece headset for my forks but the forks are to big and heavy. now im putting a set of kx 100 forks on there. This mod is a no brainer. You cant possibly upgrade the breaks, forks and head set for less money and your getting parts that will outlast any fox shock junk out there. Measure resistance from one motor winding to the other. They should all be the same.

You need KO motor! Your motor was not meant for 72 volt.

how did you get the cable out from underneath? I can get the caliper out but the cable is still under the battery base plate thing. I lifted it up and the caliper fits out like you did but my cable is still trapped under.

I've heard nothing but positive things about the KO Motors. Those motors should easily be able to handle 70+ without breaking a sweat.

Same happened to my Mini 2S, i asked Amazon for a replacement and they gave it to me, they send me a different board without the screen thing and it work perfectly fine, pulling 10miles range as I'm suppose to.

Hey bro. I had never seen the kind of cracked metal like what you showed. Apart from that, you gotta heat it way more than 100C to fully demagnetise the magnets. When magnets start to loose their magnetism, you loose torque but the motor takes a looooot of RPMs when it has no load. Now coils aren't burned as it really shows when they are. Most probable cause (apart from the crack, that idk the effect it could have) is the hall sensor. H=ave you tried your controller on sensorless (it'd give you an idea)? If that's the hall sensor, it's a really easy fix!

You blew the motor bro Maybe you should buy the KO motor if you want to go hard with that battery and controller Otherwise you have to watch the temp or it will happen again

My RC car did the same thing, the motor overheat and the brushless motor on it demagnetized. Probably happened same thing to your motor.
