Question...when the timing belt snapped, how did the lasharo not sustain engine damage?I bought a 88 from milwaukee Wi from a repair shop where the owner did not want to pay to fix a belt snap. I bet they came off the same lot when new.
I can’t say why the belt breaking didn’t cause a problem, but it runs just as well as it did before. I had a 1990 Miata with 45,000 miles that lost a timing belt and it was also fine once the new belt was put on. I got lucky?!?!
