There's a group on Facebook for these camper vans. One of the members is named "Zpj Moteur" and he sells parts for these out of Argentina where they still make these vans for local delivery. He ships to US, parts are reasonably priced.
Love the videos!! Fascinating - and I admire your patience, too. Do you rent the vehicle? 'Looking for an adventure opportunity in Summer '22 . Jim (Age 65)
I also have a 1988 boat that we redid because it is ours and we wanted it to look and feel nicer inside. Same with our house that was built in 1893, I wasn't going to live in 1893 just because it was a time capsule.
@@punkrachmaninoff check out the LeSharo Facebook group. List of suppliers there and a couple of them are very active on the group. AFAB and ZPJ are two.
i just bought the same camper! and want to redo the inside just like you :) thank you so much for your videos!
I hope you're shorter than Kevin! That ceiling gets awfully low after an hour or two working inside.

Thanks, we found this one through the LeSharo FB group. We're doing the research for parts, just got rear brake shoes from Estonia!
Thank you 👍.

Yes we use RVShare and Outdoorsy to rent this camper out.
Hi, I watch your boating channel and love it. I used to live in Chicago near Wriggly Field. What's happening with the LeSharo?
There are some new videos up, in fact one is uploading right now and should be live by tomorrow morning! Thanks for watching BOTH channels!
Hola we got dame like u but 85 we aré in México i need the front glass can u help us please
I did too
Where did you get the window stripping??
I still haven’t replaced them!
You bought a 1988 RV. People expect the inside to look like 1988. It's a shame because you had a pretty nice time capsule but alas, never good enough.

I'd like to know where you got the awning please
It's a Shady Boy. shadyboy.com
The engine is the same of a Renault 21 (Europe) , in the USA Eagle Medallion ;)
Yes, thankfully there are a few parts around. We're fortunate enough to have a couple parts suppliers who concentrate on this vehicle!
@@whatrvthinking4764 do you happen to have a list of those suppliers?

if you have anything left after all the machinery and body work is safe and reliable ( !!!) then you can think about "upgrades" !
Do you now want kind of transmission it is from chrysler?
The engine and transmission are made by Renault.
What transmissions in it
Renault 3-speed automatic
Hi! Can you please say how tall is inside? Height? Thank you
In front of the kitchen sink is about 6' but the rest is about 5'9" Kevin is 6'3" and Colette is 5'10" so it's a bit cramped for us.
I had an 87 Lesharo, it was ok, but sold it and bought my 77 GMC
Love the GMC, that may be our next addition if the LeSharo is successful as a rental.

How to put on the heatet?
The heater for the coach is LPG and there is a thermostat next to the rear dinette.
Renault..all you need to avoid at all costs. Excuse the pun
What's the pun?
Ha, I get it. It's a stretch, but I get it.
