- In June 2023, The Bigger Pictures Film Restoration team completed the first full 4K HDR restoration of the 1995 film, A Goofy Movie. This documentary serves to educate about the method and process that was involved and seeks to show the difference of the footage both before and after the cleaning process, which was completed over a three year period.
This documentary also features behind-the-scenes footage from the original production and rare original pencil tests. Please note - this restoration work is not available for purchase or distribution and is not for profit. Our team is seeking to share this restoration directly with the copyright holders - no copyright infringement is intended.

*Gives you a standing ovation* This has got to be one of my favorite 4K restorations so far! I know Disney released a 4K restoration of Cinderella recently, and seeing this made me smile even more!
As this was my first Disney film! I really do hope that Disney or even Kevin Lima can see this and allow this to be fully released! And I can't wait to see what other Disney movie that you guys can restore to their original glory!

What an absolutely incredible process!!! This video was very informative and I really enjoyed how you guys put this together. Like... talking about how the movie was cropped and then restored to widescreen and you did it while Max's hand moved the grass away was beautifully aesthetic! I enjoyed watching this and omgosh i need to get myself a copy of the restored movie!

Warner Bros completed an excellent 4K remaster of Cats Don’t Dance in 2023 from its original negative. It was released on Blu-ray through Warner Archive just a few months ago. I would highly recommend it!

I personally feel like it would absolutely behoove large companies like Disney to offer bounties on projects like this. Fans who already love a series are already doing stuff like this, so why not figure out a way to reimburse such dedication and effort and also offer such a passion project to a wider audience?

No kidding! How often does a distributor like Disney have a team of fans just drop of completed restoration project in their lap?
Many of the Doctor Who restorations were done by fans and used by the BBC.
I NEED this version of the film on 4K BluRay! This film was my late elementary school childhood!
i am in awe this is just so amazing the amount of work that must of went into this thank you so much for this the eye to eye bit at the end was so well done the entire thing is so well done disney please PLEASE use this as any new releases for the film this is just so amazing this movie is one of my all-time favorite it gives me so much nostalgia this is just amazing

Reading your blurb about sharing with the copyright holders, I hope we will soon see your hard work on Disney+ though I believe they will want to re-censor the scenes that your uncensored back to their original state.

Not using this remaster. Will be the censored DCP that appears on Disney+ and the Blu-ray from Disney Movie Club.
