I know this car. I have seen it locally many many times at car shows. Nice guy that built and owns it. You have to see this car in person to realize just how this car is amazing in so many ways...
Nice , I built a 73 many years ago out of CO . De chromed it , lowered it , built a 1776 cc with dual Webers and more . Used the back much like he did here but also incorporated the stereo components in there also . Put 914 wheels on it and painted it black with a custom grey and black interior . Wish I had it back . Thanks for the video can’t wait to see what else has been done to this one .
Beautiful Ghia!!! Would have been really neat if you'd a shown the front end. And the rear end. And the engine. Hey, you could even start the thing so we could hear it run!
This car is so fancy, it's like CAR ROYALTY! Everything is so high quality and specially designed. This is how they should have looked when they were NEW!
Very interested to see the mechanical aspects of this car. Far more important to me than the Gentleman’s choice of seats. Also the bodywork in the thumbnail photo looks excellent but as yet you have not shown it.
It appears the owner didn't feel comfortable about that situation. Notice how he pulled the ignition key out and pocketed it as the camera man was in a position to possibly sit in and roll out.
certainly a job well done, in my opinion the interior is too modernized, but it's a matter of taste, I haven't seen the engine but having EI and five gears he will surely have put everything that is possible to put in that engine, the evolutions for that engine can reach up to 250hp, and trust me, sitting behind the wheel it seems too much... the problem always remains the bodywork... before carrying out work on the engine and general improvements, spending a lot of money, always check that the underbody is not soaked, the vibrations could really do irreversible damage, especially if you like to ride with a heavy foot 🤙
I bought 72 karmann convertible in j c mo in89 took it back home in camdenton mo with most of expert body work by John swartz and son Sean with little cutting made a very nice 959 Porsche conv replica finished in91 but has not run for 20 yr sadly John is with the angels happy motoring from lake of. The Ozarks mo

This was always one of my favorites, nice Ghia !
Drink every time he says "OK".

A quater for every time the host says "OK!" Big $$$

There are multiple videos.
Agreed.

@@marcgarrett5427 Who wants to watch multiple videos of this with bad camera angles and “ok” after each statement?
My dream car, I hope some day it make come true!!! 🙏🙏🙏
Ok....Ok....Ok!
How many times can you say "Ok" in one video?🤔
Who’s working the camera?
WOW! never seen a tach with shift light.
The hose clamp is a nice touch.
"Okay..."
That clip around the gear knob looks perfect for shaving skin from your hand...
This video is OK 54 times 😂👍
a thing of beauty is a joy forever...!
What is the surgical clamp under the rear seat used for?
Car looks awesome besides the lipstick color.
Very sweet car, love it, Fantastic job, I would take it in a heartbeat,
Most tastefully sorted Karmann Ghia. The paint & interior are pronominal!. Love the colors. Absolutely beautiful.
Nice car I own a 72 ghia convertible and converting it to electric!
looking to do the same thing. can you let me know how yours has progressed?
Very cool car. My aunt's was not like that! Have fun.
The KG was a beauty of a car….it could of been worthy of a Porsche badge had it had the 356-type engine back in the ‘50’s and early 60’s…
ok...ok...ok...ok...ok. I guess it was ok
Boa tarde cheia de Jesus para todos vós. Parabéns pelo profissionalismo para deixar esse veículo maravilhoso.
Very nice job! But stop with the OK’s! OKAY
I’m curious how much it cost to resto mod
Garden hose clamp on the shiftier.

...my '73 Ghia s-m-o-k-e-s this car............
farmer Jones explains his custom German 4 cylinder.
Ok.
Najpiękniejszy ze wszystkich VW 🇵🇱👍💪🐺⚔❗
FFS dude, stop saying ok after every sentence the owner says.
Nothing about the engine?????????
wow....is so cool and nice very very very beautiful classic car
That’s it!? Jeez.
Notice the constant subliminal product placement, brought to you by the Oklahoma Tourism Board?
Very nice Karmann but lose the monster tach. Shift light really!!!!
Hemostats under the backseat panel, just in case you sever an artery.
Or need a smoke
@@gsk5161 They are little too large for that.
Back in my day we used hemostats for something else
Or to create an electrical short
wow
💥 Very ✅ Nice💥
Wow, cool ride.
Modern gauges and modern Radio looks awful.................

Okay.
Where is this guy? I just bought a 1968 Karmann Ghia. I am looking for someone like him to help me restore the car.
Gene Berg 5 speed conversions are rare. And pricey. From what I read you can ONLY use their shifter with that conversion.
OK!!! ❤

muito bom
The death of a classic .. what a shame ..
I like everything except that big ugly tach.
I agree.
@Issan Cali Reject The REV Limiter is Set at 6k.........It is VW (even though it has been heavily modified), Not a Porsche.
La classe !
Time wasted , never seen the outside of car or engine bay. Way too many gadgets ❗️🇺🇸
"Hot car" zero discussion about what's in the boot?
Hold the camera straight,,,,,,,,
To Phol Tucker from Louis 14th. Shame on you , for saying the immaculate seating ISN'T really important to YOU! You have NO sense of LUXURY!
