Trying to decide if you are a better architect, farmer, mechanic or teacher. You do all so well. Thanks for your videos and for sharing your knowledge. It's appreciated!
This is why I love RUclips, it's for channels like yours Pete, where ordinary people can share their knowledge in a way that is easy to follow. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us, I know for me, it has helped a lot with my efforts to repair my old 706 and get her running like she should.
Your talent and explanation of moving parts is just amazing . Over the years we have so enjoyed your channel as we move through the later half of winter . Thank you so much .
Great to have Sunday morning coffee watching and listening to your step by step restoration of farm tractors and equipment. You and your family please stay safe and healthy. 👍
Welcome back Pete! I've been a subscriber for a few years and being winter and all I started watching your older videos and was especially impressed with the renovation of your old house. Great job, working full-time and refurbishing an old house is admirable. I wasn't surprised by the end result because all your work is top notch! I watch four RUclips channels, yours is number one on my list!!!
I have an 856 that was purchased new by my dad and uncle, I have a Year-A-Round cab plumbed correctly that will cook you out in the winter on a sunny day, loader and snow blower, it is used as a yard tractor for snow and misc, I like to see how things are done on it to help with oil leaks, thanks Pete for the information that helps with information from the service manual
Yesssssss! Pete's back! Hope you and your family are well. Boy, sure glad you posted something, I was having withdrawals 😅😂😆 Nice having you back on Pete.
I love the restoration videos, the attention to detail turns it from a practical revamp i to what is to me artwork, it’s a beautiful thing to look at, not only that but due to the care and attention these historic tractors will be around long after I’m gone and likely still looking and working great.
Ezra looks at you like, "Tell me more on larger turbo!" Moving along on the 856...love the explanations and updating! Thank you Pete! She's gonna be a great tractor!
Darn it Pete, these are my favorite video's. Your clear effort at doing what it takes, to do the job right is among one of your greatest skills. There is no equal, to a proper job. You should run for President, you got my vote. Be well.
Fascinated by Pete’s knowledge of these farm tractors, just appreciate his presentation so much. For me I miss the swine, but understand that they are a lot of work ,and not much profit for small farmers. Great to see you again, thanks !
Great to have you back providing pleasant presentations in a rough world. Explained details of mechanical functions a real plus. But more than anything it is you the person that makes the channel. Filming your life’s work after architecture for us is a real generosity. Hope you, Hil and family are warm and have great week. Michael, Norwalk Ct. 17 degrees.
Thank you for your insights. I'm beginning to set my sights on a restore. You're making it much more interesting to do. Your calm approach is the key I believe. Have a good week Pete.
Zen and the art of tractor maintenance. Love it. Peaceful and calm start to our day. I hope the cat is taking notes for the big test at the completion. 😊. Thank you, peace out.
Man, you weren't kidding about that side having a lot of places to leak. Beautiful work Pete. I wouldn't have recognized that oil cooler, without this instructional video. Great video.👍
Welcome back. As always, I can't wait for the next video. Really veyr interesting and diverse, farmer, mechanic, artist, marketing master and family man.
Nice to see you Pete. Sure missed the weekly videos, but so happy to spend a Sunday morning with you. This 856 is looking spiffy. Can't wait to hear it run again. Stay safe Pete.
This was awesome. Update on the tractor, and interesting information about a variety of other engines as well. Thanks for the video. Take care and I'll see you later.
Morning Pete great to see another tractor video this morning things go together so much easier when they are cleaned and fresh paint can't wait to see the finished project great job 👍👍👍
Hey Pete! Welcome back. I hope you had a good break and caught up on whatever you do for relaxation and peace of mind. Looking forward to what you have planned for us in the new year. Peace brother!
It's always a pleasure watching you rebuild your tractors, you do such a thorough job at explaining what each part is and how it works and why you do it in the sequence you do. Thanks for sharing your projects and knowledge with us. I hope you have a nice day!
So Glad to see you back Pete! Hope You Hillarie and Family are Well, and what a lovely Quietly Relaxing restoration Video to mark your return, Brilliant! 👍❤😁 btw I hope Ezra caught that big ole Rat in the Tractor Shed 😂
Ahhhh, morning coffee and Pete slinging clean/red parts onto a clean/red engine! Life's good. Now, Pete, Ezra needs to climb up high onto your shoulder to have the best vantage point for doing his cat-scan of your work. Him's got an "impotent" job there! Keep warm/dry. God bless you in your efforts.
Pete, it is so very good to see you again. I hope that your much deserved sabbatical worked well for you. The tractor rebuild is looking fantastic! And the paint job is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to see and hear this old girl when you get her back in the field. I bet she purrs like little Ezra. Well done, Pete.
Great video! Thanks for the info into the engine and explanation of how it came about. I’m a Farmall lover and have a 1959 McCormick Farmall 140. I know you don’t have much use around there for a tractor like that but I would love to listen to your explanation of how that tractor came about and maybe have one for reference. Stay warm and be safe.
Nicely narrated assembly video; loaded with tidbits of design history related function to performance enhancements. The whole tractor power battle history is loaded with triumphs and epic failures. Engineers and machinist are some of the most competitive and driven people when it comes to puzzles on timelines within a deadline.
Pete!!!!! I have a greeting, an observation and whimsical thought..... Glad to see you back, you've been missed more than you probably realize. From reading the previous comments, it seems you could sit in the middle of your workshop and read from the Farmer's Almanac and people would love it. Pete Larson's dream Jeopardy board....... 1) IH tractors 2) Needle point 3) College Football mascots 4) Barbequing 5) Dad jokes am I close? Keep up the "Good work" Rich from PA.
