I was looking for a video on how to paint a sink and came across this video. Stunning. And thank you I would have used the 2part that all over the internet however I like yours better
I just found your channel while searching how to paint a bathtub, and although it takes work to do it, you still made it look relatively easy, and so uncomplicated unlike other videos on RUclips have shown. I found your video since I am going to get my hall bath renovated later this summer. I just don't have the patience, know how or stamina to do these projects myself. I had my main bathroom done last summer (which was very expensive but was over 30 years old) and I'm having my contractor come back to do the hall bath soon. I'm very impressed & envious of your skills!
You also gave me an idea...I need to see if Bed, Bath & Beyond is still open in my area and maybe pick up a few accessories if they are for my hall bath.

Wow....taking on a significant project and you seem to be doing an admiral job. I'm soon to do the same, but my bathrooms are starting out in better shape than yours. I'm looking in to refinishing my fiberglass tub, and leaning towards the marine paint. If you were to do it over, would you use the same product? Would you prime first? Please let me know anything you can about your tub finishing experience.
Thank you! I definitely suggest using the Marine paint. It's been 2 years and has held up beautifully. This paint says it doesn't require primer unless you are making repairs to the surface before painting. I didn't make any repairs to the fiberglass, so I didn't need to use the primer. I haven't had any issues with the finish, and it seems to be holding up fine without the primer, but you could always use it if you want that added layer of assurance. It definitely wouldn't hurt. The only thing I think I would've done differently is I would've added the non-slip additive into the paint for the bottom of the tub. Our tub has texture at the bottom. The paint didn't fill it in, so it's still there, and we haven't had problems with anyone slipping in the tub. But I do think it would've been a good idea to use the non-slip additive just for some additional grip. This paint dries to a hard shell like finish, so it will be really slick if yours isn't textured. They sell a non-slip additive that just mixes right into the paint. I think it says to use it on the last coat, but you'll want to double-check the directions. I hope that helps. Good luck with your remodel, I hope all goes well!

WOW! Amazing job here! I am wondering how the spray painted fixtures are working out? I am thinking of painting a **new** chrome hot water dispenser fixture matte black to match the other items.... What do you think? It would be very visible, on my kitchen countertop, so any imperfection would be very obvious... I'd love honest replies!!!

It is pretty. It seems that the area in front of the sink is very deep. Can the kids easily access it?
Thank you so much! So it's actually not much more space between the edge of the counter and the sink than the old one was, maybe just slightly. It looks deeper, though, because of how tall the sink is. I did use a dresser that's shorter than the standard bathroom cabinet height so that once the sink was installed, it would still sit at the height of a normal sink. I hope that makes sense.

Thank you!!! It has held up really well. This bathtub takes a beating. Honestly, I can't believe it's held up as well as it has. I'll have an update posted soon (it takes me forever to get a video edited, but I'm working on it).
