For anyone not wanting their Original Santal, please contact me and I will gladly sit it next to my current bottle. And that black bottle you have behind you smells exactly like Cool Water. And yes I also own GIT. The point is refinement and dry down. That's what keeps bringing me back to Creed, that subtle, but smooth musk, ambergris drydown🤙🏾
By FAR the best Original Santal breakdown I've yet to see. Made me wear it again today so I could relive the experience🤙🏾
Wow, thank you!
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm gonna try it have a blessed night
This is what I had wished Joop would smell like, wish granted.
*BIG PHAT HALF HOUR REVIEW* delicious
Great review. I really enjoy Sandalwood so I think I will give this a try.
Hope you enjoy it!
Reminds me of Joop i own it and definitely a winter reach
It's sad now to see these old videos and see how excited and intrigued people were about the "history" of Creed
Excellent review...I wore this one just the other day now that the cooler Fall weather is upon but, to be honest, I was actually wearing Mont Blanc Individuel so don't tell anyone! Okay, Original Santal used to be a favorite (and it does have that a level of smoothness and quality that Individuel doesn't quite possess) but it never received any compliments and has fall out of favor the past few years. Enjoyed. Cheers!
Not a bad scent by any means but Spice and Wood and Royal Oud are far better cold weather offerings from the house
Love original santal its one of my favorite creeds believe it or not. I'm in the minority that absolutely cannot stand Aventus the smell makes me nauseous 🤢
I agree it’s likely super peppery isn’t and harsh and just horrid
Creed's back stories make no sense... Hungarian Emporer? Emporer Franz Joseph I of Austria ruled over Hungary from 1830-1916. Hungary was a part of the Holy Roman Empire between 1526-1867, controlled by the Hapsburg Dynasty. In 1868 Hungary was given "considerable autonomy" with the formation of the Austro-Hungarian empire with the Emperor of Austria simultaneously serving as the king of Hungary. So when did Creed compose a fragrance for an Hungarian Emperor?
The creed back stories are so comical and such hogwash, made for an emperor a couple hundred years ago hahaha bullshit creed. Pierre Bourdon helped make GIT for Creed then a couple years later went on to make Cool Water for Davidoff, early 2000's Pierre Bourdon is hired by Mont Blanc and made Individual and a couple years later POOF!! Original Santal is born out of Creed this cannot be denied.
Whoops I wrote the above while in the middle of the video and then realized you explained the bourdon thing in the video.
Reminds of JOOP/POOP hate JOOP that’s why I don’t care for SANTAL, smells like one of my grade school teachers back in 60s, worst Creed ever made.
