Have you checked the forest to see if she has a second den with more cubs? Foxes usually have at least 4 or 5 babies at a time, and they usually have more than one den.
Such beautiful animals! I know people that have them as pets, but you have to know how to take care of them. Mama trusts you though as much as she can.
Thank you for posting. It makes me happy to see so much cuteness. I think we should call the mother Princess because her face markings look like she is wearing a tiara witha big diamond in the middle of her forehead. Also, she has poise and an elegant way of walking.
Although I’m happy seeing them being cared for the mothers of wild animals more times than not will reject the babies after they pick up the scents of humans . She may have stopped feeding them because you started . If she were going to abandon them she would not come back at all and it says to feed them canned food that dry food is not healthy for them also stated that babies do not fully know how to defecate on their own that if you feed a baby you are supposed to take a warm wet rag and wipe their bums to stimulate to make them go to the bathroom or they can fill up with toxins from the waste and die . There is so much information available on the web to research before doing this type of stuff . Just because they eat it doesn’t mean they should it can harm them more than help them anything from the type of animal milk you give to the food you are giving . Always best to look it up or at least call a vet and then you can help them in a way safest to prolong a healthy life than to guess and possible cause death . Mother fox doesn’t seem all that interested in the cubs. - only on your food. The cubs also in the food What is all the noise about ? Now it’s 3 cubs one mother and a chicken
The mom may have stopped letting this one nurse if she smelled you on the baby . Because the other one is not yelping about must have fed off of mom . Sometimes if they are handled the mom will reject the baby . That’s why they say you’re not supposed to touch newborns if possible .
It seems to me that the more humans intervene in the mother fox's parenting, the more we deprive them of their ability to live in the wild.... I don't know how you came to feed the foxes, but did the mother fox ask humans to help her raise her young? Are we not judging animals by our human values, even though animals and humans have very different values?

I don't think her decision is "shocking". You are feeding them, so she brings her cubs to you for an easy life. She brought Cinnamon to you last year, and it turned out well.

Do your other foxes, corsak, and raccoon dogs still visit you? What happened to Cinnamon and the Orchard siblings? Please make a video about them.
