just want to say i finally woke up to see the live chat ...you two have such a great balance in your conversations ..i don't know if its my nursing background but I really don't see disabilities make people less attractive ..i am always attracted to people's minds and how they think and approach life ❤

      Are you disabled yourself?
I am, and I’m not really attracted to dudes with disabilities. But then I don’t even have other disabled friends either

3 months ago, I tore my latissimus dorsi on both sides, and in order to even get a mri, i had to go private. The treatment from my GP has been terrible and I don't think she even understands that i am a C6 tetraplegic and any more loss of function and strength is tragic! 3 months on and im still not better and can not find the right medical professional than understands what I've done and how to get better and stronger. I've still got no strength in my triceps! I am trying to do everything I can to get my strength and independence back, but it's really, really hard!

Wow that sounds tough. How did you manage such an injury?

Hi Fred! Thanks for leaving a comment 😊! That's cool, I found your channel in June when I was on bedresrt and really enjoyed watching your videos! I was independent but at the moment l need to use a hoist to do my transfers while my muscles heal as I can't put any weight through my arms. I thought I would be okay by now but every time I try to exercise I strain either the same muscle or another shoulder muscle. I think it's because I've lost so much muscle mass since hurting myself. First injury in 20 years so I guess that's not bad! I don't know what to do really, I'm a bit overwhelmed with it all. @FreddotheWheelchairGuy

I've seen gorgeous models in wheelchairs. But generally speaking, yes, disabled people are less attractive. It's human nature to be attracted to healthy people for the purpose of procreation. Now that doesn't mean the world owes disabled people anything. Life wasn't meant to be easy. As a wheelchair user I work hard to develop charm or an ideal personality. This is how I get people to look past my disability.

What a great point you make. I wish you were there for the livestream, this would have made a great topic to talk about.
It is indeed human nature to be attracted to healthy people for the purpose of procreation.

@@FreddotheWheelchairGuyI don’t get this. Lots of people who are disabled have offspring. My wife is disabled; we don’t have kids for other reasons.
