Nice video! And ah the Zagreb sleeper. I've thought about going on it this summer, my family were on holiday in Croatia but I decided to stay home (had plans for an Interrail journey but cancelled that last minute), and the Zagreb sleeper was the most viable option to visit them, but it turned out I quite liked being home alone and decided to not go haha. I really like the non-nightjet sleepers, like this one running under the EuroNight banner. Just imagine this in the 20th century, when there were all sorts of night trains going across the entire continent. Quite sad that that market ended years ago and now needs to be rebuilt. Rolling stock shortages, lack of quality and modern facilities on board. The new Nightjet that they revealed this week looks really good, no doubt they'll help with changing the publics perception of sleepers.
I love your style of vlogging, I just wish I had a partner like you although i'm not keen on the vegan thing because I like proper food, I have now subscribed to your channel and look forward to seeing where you go to next 😀 Craig x
Love your videos. When I gre up, in the 80s and 90s it was so fashionable for youngsters to train hike (tagluffa) and I'd love to do this with my kids. I hate planes especially with the wars etc
I took this Euronight from Zurich to Zagreb I believe more than 10 times in my life and it is very nice! Cool that you took that beautiful journey! And by the way...I subscribed to your channel!
From January 2023 Croatia does change currency to no longer be Croatian Kuna but also the Euro will be their currency. So Austria > Slovenia > Croatia will all be Euro. Switzerland will still be the Swiss Franc as Hungary will still be the Forint and Czechia will still be crowns. Also Croatia does join the Schengen zone so there should be no more passport checks in the night at Dobova or Gyenkeyes.
In my case it was: Zagreb - Villach - Salzburg - Munich - Stuttgart - Paris - London, and it took 31 hours. I didn't realise there was a sleeper to Zurich!
Looove this travel vlog style! Really shows all the hidden perks of travelling slowly, all the different destinations you get to see
Great video
Wonderful video!
Thanks for another great video Sarah. Love the music selection too.
Your footage is always soooo gorgeous
Traveling by train in Europe can be so much fun!
Wonderful trip! I did the same a few years back on the way to Dubrovnik and loved our one night in Zagreb. Underrated city
I'm obsessed with this journey 😍

Apparently Croatia could be part of the European borderless travel area as soon as next year.
