One minute 39 seconds when I lived in Dunedin that's as long as the summer seemed to last. I've been living in Perth for a while 39 degrees today

+Shayne Sim So you'll be sheltering from the heat indoors, that's living.

Shayne Sim 39 degrees is not living, you nong. I spent one December in Perth, a great city with plenty to see and do, great shopping etc., but sitting inside with all doors and windows closed tight, curtains drawn to keep out the heat, ac chugging away constantly, getting bored silly, thought stuff this , I’m going outside, I’ll just sit in the shade and drink beer.......lasted until my beer was gone because it’s still too hot sitting in the shade in Perth in December, with all the flies and bitey crap going on, can’t sweem in the ocean because of stinging bluebottles and biting blue octopii, snakes, abos, hoons, crims etc.... stay cool, stay in NZ .

We would love to check out Tunnel Beach in summer too! We recently went in the wind and rain which , to be fair, was still pretty awesome!

David Steer Good question. Could be Purakanui or Long beach . Somewhere like that ( obviously) because there are so many spots like this in that area.
