@@117Abigor just about a day for me. Not a battery monster in any way, but it's adequate (unless you're a phone addict). My previous phone is a Samsung Flip 6 so it's a big improvement for me.
I did group cycling at speeding 35 to 40kmh with x200 pro at 4k 60fps. The video looks great and the stabilzation is awesome even with zooming in and out during recording. I did with samsung 21,22,23 and 24ultra during cycling. Non of them shows better than x200 pro. I was fr iPhone to Samsung and now on Vivo. I would rate Vivo and iPhone works the best.
Video quality goes to Xiaomi as it's clearly much better and sharper. 10/10 I personally think Vivo is overrated in some areas but both have cons and pros. Kind Regards from Torquay in England 🇬🇧
When I saw this video I just go and record some video by x200 pro and I do not know what phone you have because the recording in 60 and 60 with Dolby is very good. I got scared when I saw.
This is a great review! I appreciate how you get into the important details, which nobody seem to care or know about. These things can be a dealbreaker for many people if they knew about them. Currently I'm fighting with the thing that although with third party camera apps you can get better videos on most phones, you don't get good stabilization or even 4K60P on some of them. Obviously the reason we want to use phone for videos is the compactness, carrying a tripod and a gimbal just doesn't make sense. With these phones you'll either get stable videos with crappy overprocessing or good quality video with useless stabilization, both of them results in bad video. It can be painful to discover the negatives when you spent a fortune on these phones. Anyway I appreciate your detailed analysis, thanks!
hey @thetechphenomena :) I'm currently on the hunt for the best camera smartphone money can buy. My trusty Pixel 6 is dying, so need replacement. Since you tested all the candidates i have in mind (Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Vivo X200, Oppo Find X8 Pro), maybe you can tell me which one pulls ahead in your opinion. I shoot pretty much everything, Architechture, Landscape, my 2 daughters playing (also at low light in indoor playgrounds), Street Photography at night, and i love taking cool macros. All 3 have their strengths and weaknesses, but there has to be one that stands out from the crowd - but which one is it?
The closest one to a real camera is undoubtedly Xiaomi. But the phone that can be shared on social media and take more vivid photos with artificial intelligence will be the vivo x 200 Pro. I can't say anything about oppo, it's a very nice phone. But for a non-professional, I don't think you'll see much difference. Whichever design you like :)
@@iamsingleff8216 In my opinion pixel 7 pro is good. Google is doing a good job. It has pure android software. In general, Xiaomi 14t Pro is better, but this phone surpasses Xiaomi in terms of camera.
@thetechphenomena Much appreciated, I have a Xiaomi 14 Ultra currently and love it. Previously had a Oppo Find X6 Ultra which was amazing. The NEW Oppo Ultra supposed to be exceptional with satellite calling.
I don't know if they really changed the hardware ois or is just the software issue on global version but the stabilization on chinese version is much better than on the global version.
It's strange that the Xiaomi's 3.2x optical zoom doesn't provide as sharp footage as its 5x optical zoom. Both sensors are the same size and the 3.2x optical zoom lens has even a faster aperture than the 5x optical zoom lens. Are they the same sensors ?
The stabilization on the Vivo X200 Pro is simply not acceptable on a flagship device. To shoot virtually unusable footage at 4K60 is a massive deal breaker. Now I understand why reviewers cannot recommend this device for videography. Such a shame, as it's photographic abilities are quite superb in many scenarios.
Small chance... But I wouldn't hold out too much hope... The 4k60 has the highest chance of improvement as it looks like they forgot to add stabilization there😂
Did you use ultra stabilisation on x200 pro. And it locks up to 2.8k resolution and it's very stable. Non active stabilisation always comes with bad stability@@thetechphenomena
I'm a little confused, on my X200 Pro I have ultra stabilisation option available all the way up to 8K 30fps, are you saying its not available on your unit or that it's not working?
damn seeing this on x200 pro, i'm really depressed haha, although most of the videos i make are keeping the camera still but this breaks my heart given i upgraded after 5 years from huawei p30 pro..
Great video, you're one of the best. But I do think you missed some things: - in the slo-mo comparison, you didn't mention that the Xiaomi can do 1920fps at 1080p. Video quality is not perfect and doesn't really look like 1080p, but still very cool and one of the best slowmotion implementations imo. - In the night video comparison, I feel like you should've compared them both in normal video mode. The night video mode on Xiaomi is not any better than the normal video mode and perhaps even a bit worse, as I think(?) that the digital image stabilization (EIS) is disabled during that mode.
Thanks... And yes I guess I could've mentioned the SLO mo thing... But I'm an advocate for high quality SLO mo hence my focus on 4k120... The 1920 SLO mo looks like steaming ass😂😂... Hence I don't bother with it... It's mostly a gimmick in my opinion
something seems to be wrong with the X200 Pro, I didn't think it'd be THIS bad I mean the X100 Pro was close enough to the other flagships in terms of stabilization but this is just atrocious. Even the Oneplus 13 has better stabilization. what's even weirder is that the night time video stabilization looked alright to me lmao what's going on
Watching this on my 14 Ultra with a big grin

I think he's talking about shooting in log mode, so probably issue shows only then.

Vigger apertures usually have more spherical aberrations, só they are less sharp. The 75mm was probably optimised for close distancie.

I have X200 Pro now, was an iPhone 13PM user before. The stabilization works well on my device. I.have no complaints about it. 🙃

You should split video into chapters so youtube will make it more views
Why you are not doing x100 ultra Vs x200 pro🙂

x200 pro vs iphone vs x100 ultra vs find x7 ultra vs xiaomi 14 ultra? Will you be kind enough to just tell me which gives the best result? 🙏
Please test Motioncam on this phone
Was about to ask him that lmao
Without any movemebt which would you say is better video wise
Xiaomi
would have liked to see more low light videos instead of mostly focusing on daylight for stabilisation...
any chance that they will improve stabilisation on x200 pro with time?

Yes... The 12:48 segment is Abt ultra stabilization
This has made me probably buy yhe 14 just the video i wanted
Go get it. And get the photography kit while they're still being sold.
Thanks you i wanted videography and with people at that
Waiting for xiaomi 15 ultra
One observation - When you walk with Xiaomi phone camera it does not do the "Tuwink tuwink tuwink tuwink" bounce. It goes smoother than Vivo.
Exactly... Hence my complaints Abt Vivo's stabilization
Are you aware of the ultra stabilisation mode in vivo and did you try using it? I didn't hear you mention anything about that.
12:50 ... That segment is all Abt the ultra stabilization
I'm a little confused, on my X200 Pro I have ultra stabilisation option available all the way up to 8K 30fps, are you saying its not available on your unit or that it's not working?
You hv the option visible but if u choose anything higher than 2.8k it'll automatically disable ultra stabilization
