@thetechphenomena Hello, which phone would you recommend more - Vivo X100 Pro or Xiaomi 14 Ultra? In everyday use, photos are important, but videos are less important. Which phone seems more future-proof in terms of possible software improvements? Xiaomi is probably better on paper - screen, speakers, camera optics. There is no proper optimization. The same with the battery, which is probably weaker than in Vivo. The question is whether they will improve it. I'm only considering one of two - Xiaomi is smaller than Vivo and I like it, and X100 Pro is the maximum size I want. Are you able to advise?

Hello brother please think about making a versus video between Vivo's former flagships with their successors showing how these flagships improved year by year so far in terms of camera capabilities For example x70pro+ vs x80pro vs x90pro and x100 pro and obviously same You can do that kind of comparison with other brands too like samsung,Xiaomi etc

What is happening with the background on the two selfies at 12.15? The detail behind your head is not quite right on the X100. These almost look like post processed cut outs

what i see from x100 pro is slightly greenish tone tbh. i like xiaomi 14 ultra more. not to mention the 14-bit ultra raw dng of 14 ultra is just insane. captures very rich colors and shadow details also if you like something natural, nothing comes as close as pixel 8 pro right now. sure it can be a bit on the coldish side but it's very close to what you get with a $1500 mirrorless in terms of colors. x100 pro just looks too greenish if you're used to pixel color science. xiaomi 14 ultra is also a bit warmer but at least the color science is not greenish. i really hate greeny skin tones

The HDR camera tab/feature causes focus/dimming issues on the Vivo x100 Ultra. Did you have that on or off?

This x100pro is damn good for JUST photography !! will not give overall experience

Sorry to say, I bought x100pro , used 3 months but sold it later due to : 1) very slippery design even with cover 2) Funtouch OS having lots of basic bugs 3) Audio is very low and no quality 4) Haptics are very poor like 10k phone 5) Even it is IP68, wet screen does not work (ghost touches) 6) Curve screen is very fragile/ no screen protection

Leica authentic is actually not that great. I stopped using it and always shoot in vibrant plus leica nat filter and it allows for 50mp jpg. Authentic can mess up photos too much which is strange. Often I took a pictures in nature and authentic looked fake and nothing like the real scene. But I hope for future updates. Anyway, I returned x100 pro I had first. It is really not good. Grass looked like a smudged mess from some old low cost phone and close ups are horrible. Ultrawide camera is noisy as hell.

As someone who always only take portraits. I will go in for the vivo. Plus I really don't like contrasty photos. And the fact that a photo is contrasty and dark doesn't make it natural

Xiaomi is Xiaomi. 14 ultra is the best flagship camera phone on the planet

For whatever it's worth. The Chinese variant of the 14U has a 120mm (5x) portrait mode. Think it showed up a couple updates ago... Firmware 1.12, if I'm not mistaken.

Night pictures looks great on Xiaomi, realistic processing (shadows are dark, it's so simple yet rare in phones) and no oversharpening. Respect for Vivo but night belongs to Xiaomi. Good comparison bro, keep them coming.
