Pentime is hands down my favorite penmanship program. It has the simplicity of TGTB with the style of Abeka, and the price point can't be beat. I've used all of these programs and I have to say Pentime deserves a look! Thanks for the video!
This was informative! We are using TGATB Handwriting for the first time this year and we are really enjoying it! They LOVE the artwork portion at the bottom and get excited to show it to me each morning😊
This is helpful to know. My kids are in Abeka's Manuscript K5 this year and I was trying to think ahead to when to bring cursive into their studies. Sounds like if we want to stick with Abeka we may as well just get their practice workbook for cursive for K5 and start now, using it as a supplement to boost their general penmanship skill.
Nicholas is doing level 3 from tgtb and I am so surprised at how well he is doing... I was nervous about cursive .. I don't know why.. I thought it would need more of my time maybe... but it's been great!!
We are finding that my youngest hates handwriting!!! We use TGTB!!! My older kids where writing well when we pulled them out of school so we didn’t do handwriting!!! Abecca could be too much for us!!! We are just doing it without a curriculum as I just want her to be able to write!!! We do copywork!!! We are thinking of doing cursive in grade 1 or 2 with my youngest as my older kids did it in grade 1 at school so pulling them out after grade 2 wasn’t an issue!!! Our grades are different ages and younger tho.

Nice! I always love checking out new curriculum (whether I plan to change or not 😆) so I’ll definitely check it out!
Thanks for the recommendation! I might switch to that. I love abeka cursive but it's pricey with multiple kids.

Yes the artwork is fun ☺️

That’s a good idea! The k5 will be a much gentler approach! Even if they do it later in like 1st or 2nd grade
My favorite part about TGTB cursive Handwriting is that the strokes line up with what LOE teaches.
Where is the best play to buy?

The way they reach it is great! It really helps them be independent. Glad he’s doing well!

I'm not gonna lie I'm 36 and def learned cursive in school but doing the Abeka grade 3 handwriting is hard for me! It's so small.
Haha 😆
When does tgtb introduce cursive??
Level 3
