I'm so glad to see you back, I'm sorry about the business being slow and your wife suffering. I hope the car turns out like you want and that business picks up. I don't understand why you don't have more subscribers, I have you, Norcal, Xraytony, Mr. Carlson and I like your content and commentary the best. The Phillips Predicta series you did was awesome and your channel is the only place for stuff like that. I think you are a cool guy who would be great to have a cigar with someday. I'm sorry to hear the shop is in trouble, like so many others, but you do have a wonderful skillset, you'll be OK. Overworked maybe, but OK.

Glad you are ok, It is not easy making enough being a tech it is the same here in the UK as well. Everything has become disposable and since then the parts and service networks have vanished along with all the jobs.

The tabbed TDA 2002 or 3 would do the job as a amplifier.
I dont think there are many support components, strip board would do.

On my sharp TV/VCR combo from 95 if you hit picture reset. The set defaults to the contrast being cranked all the way up. I believe they did this so it would look better at the store on display. Not good for the tube though. Also nice to see a new video from. I manly work on my own vintage electronics but if someone needs something fixed and is willing to pay for my time I will fix there stuff. Now I need to get back to fixing a mide 80s Sony boom box.
