My mother exactly. I’m 72, she died last year at 96. My sister and I can attest to it, she never wished us well, or gave us a compliment. She never said I’m sorry or I’m wrong. She liked to reduce you to tears. Two days before she died, I said “mom I love you” she replied “I love me more”. She stayed true to her character right til the end. I feel for that bride. And her friends are terrible, I would never say that to my friend, especially when they were vulnerable enough to invite me to such an important event
The first one was sooooo good! She looked stunning and flattered her bodyshape. The family is a nightmare... makes one wonder how much is real and what is staged for the show.
I can tell her dad loves her to pieces. Look at how he looks at her, that’s his little girl, he still sees her like she’s 5 years old. He’s so proud of her .
Holy shit if I were working at that shop, as soon as the linebacker comment came out, I'd have been fired. Unreal. I hope she finds people who actually love her.
She says she’s a “daddy’s girl”, sweetie you love him that much because he’s the only person in your life that doesn’t bully you. I would be a daddy’s girl too if he was the only person I knew that loved me
There's a reason she's a 'daddy's girl'. He was the only decent human in her entourage! Her mother (if you can call her that) and her so called friends are downright horrible! No wonder she has self esteem issues! I hope she has a beautiful wedding, marriage and ditches those terrible people!
@@Thollis1987 Yeah, I don't know why she didn't turn around and tell her mother and "friends" to go to hell for saying such horrible things about how she looked.
The mother is utterly revolting... bullying her daughter about her size; this is exactly how my mother treated me my entire life- hence why she is no longer a part of my life. Her dad was the real MVP here!
"Linebacker"? "walkin' doily"? "mop with a head"? I would not blame her one bit had she silently walked out of her appointment through a back or side door leaving the shrunken-head gallery behind and, sadly, her loving Daddy with bitterness and no respect for those who ruined her day.
I really hope that was just editing trickery, and that she was actually saying that to someone else. I can't believe anyone would be so cruel to a bride.
"I'm a daddy's girl." Get the feeling like that's because he actually loves and respects you as opposed to whatever the hell the rest of those clowns were doing. Like, it felt like they were having a competition on who could say the most meanspirited thing.
These people are so horrible. How can they insult her and laugh afterwards like its one big joke. Why do they feel the need to embarrass and humiliate her? Her mum is honestly so rude and mean. And her so called friends. Girl I'd be uninviting some people to the wedding.
Imagine all the girls trying on normal clothes in a group and laughing at each other. For some this is normal banter. Unfortunately they don't seem to realize choosing a wedding dress is usually a pretty emotional experience and normal banter-play isn't really appropriate. Live and learn I say. My best friends were the ones who loved me despite me having a regular habit of sticking my foot into my mouth.
I full on expected the dad to be the insensitive one or the weirdo. The first moments and then I thought "okay, divorce fight" but this is heartbreaking. The fact that her entourage can't seem to see how upsetting and hurtful they are. It's worrying at best. Props for the dad though. That is one good dad, even if his glasses are super weird.

Her mother is a toxic and nasty person. I can’t believed she laughed at her daughter when her head is attached to her body by fat and a prayer. Her father was there for HER while her mother was there for herself with her no neck behind. She was there to be petty towards her daughter and I’m guessing ex-husband. She deserves better than her mom. I can’t with Monte and the Terminator glasses 😂
The bride fighting back tears while they all laughed at her, honestly she should've told them to screw off and just eloped somewhere far away from those ghouls.

Its true. She looked soo beautiful in all of them! her family is just toxic and bullied her to make her feel like she was too big or not "feminine" enough to look beautiful in a dress. Dead wrong.
Hi! Just wanted to answer to this, so here I go: sometimes, when you grow up in a toxic environment, you kind of seek the same toxicity in your adult entourage, for it’s all you’ve ever known. She grew up with that awful woman, and has been belittled all her life, so it’s become a normality. And thus, she kind of had to have "friends" like this. But I agree with you, they all are horrible people, except for the dad.
I heard that the show decides based on how much drama there is going to be, the bride tells the show and describes the people she could bring and the show decides who can and can’t come, cus they want the extra drama
This was just straight bullying...she doesn’t seem like the type to stick up for herself either so they probably get away with saying hurtful things to her all the time :(((
It broke my heart when she said "I knew they would be honest with me". She really believed they were just being brutally honest. She didn't even see that it wasn't honesty, it was bullying. Which means she really believes all the horrible things they say about her are true. And that's just so sad. I hope she realizes that they are just mean and finds better, more supportive people to surround herself with.
The bride's family and friends should have been kicked to the curb for treating her as they did. It was so unacceptable to insult the young woman. The bride's father was wonderful. He completely supported his daughter. He liked what she liked. ❤️ That's as it should be. The young bride looked just lovely in every dress she tried on.
This was heart-wrenching to watch. Toxic families are woven into our society. I hope they can take a step back and see some of the damage they are doing.
This family is crazy they were so mean to that girl if you are reading this comment you are a beautiful Bride I would not even invite them to my special day that's not how mothers act that's not how friends act
That girl that said she looked like a “mop” or whatever she called the bride, needs to get smacked…. and told to leave!! I can’t believe her family was this rude to her. The only person that was truly there for her was her dad….
True. I wanna slap them all, saying you don't deserve to be here for this beautiful bride. They have to get out and they shouldn't be invited to the wedding either. Ugh how they hug her and cry at the end? It's like just one minute ago that they mocked her! I don't like them at all
Dad is the only one who’s looking at his daughter’s reaction, rather than purely judging how the dress looks. He just cares about what makes his princess happy.
