Dear Mr. Robert, the Assyrian history lessons were excellent. As an Assyrian, I have a big request from you. As you know, most of our people (Assyrians) are not fluent in English, and please share Assyrian history lessons in Assyrian language. If it is possible for you, because it is a pity that young people who do not know English are far from their history, I will personally pass it on to you.
You mean young people who knows how to speak and understand English very well are far from knowing their history so I tell you why , they been taught to hate their history by some English or other back ground who are not from origin Assyrian writers or Authors and you are right! You know haw many educated people told me who know about Assyrian language and what’s the point why we need that dark history I was so angry 😡 how they and what make them say that fist I heard we are pagans and what’s the ESHTAR god Represent I told them this is not your faults but is wee been poor all years trying to escape from one place to another and because of war we wear sick and Ill trying just to live and services and we let others to roles over us till they taught you all about our history 😢😢😢😢😢
How many people in the middle east self identify as Assyrians? In my country, Greece, there are few. As a Greek i feel the pain of this once mighty nation of Assyrians.
Shlama, Prior to the American invasion of Iraq in 2003, various sources indicated approximately 1.5 million lived in Iraq, and close to 100,000 in Iran, Syria, Turkey, and Lebanon. Various terms are used to identify Assyrians, including Assyrochaldeans, Chaldeans, Syriacs, and lately, Arameans. These terms, however, refer to the same people, culture, and language.
I have question 🙋🏽♀️ how many people do trust in qurdayee government or their people my grandfather told me never trust these people but do we listen to Elderly people
