- On 24 April 2024, Czech automotive manufacturer Škoda announced the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo, developed in collaboration with Gran Turismo
Founded in 1895 and with a long and rich tradition, Škoda is regarded as one of the most iconic car brands in the world. The Škoda Vision Gran Turismo was created drawing inspiration from this long history, and its rich motorsport heritage.
This exterior takes inspiration from the 'Škoda 1100 OHC Spyder', a car developed for the 1957 Le Mans 24 Hours race while incorporating elements from Škoda's contemporary Modern Solid design language.
The chassis is made from a cutting-edge carbon monocoque that gives the driver the feeling of merging with the car.
Two 200 kW (268.2 BHP) electric twin motors, one on each axle, deliver a combined power output of 800 kW (1,071 BHP). The inclusion of all-wheel drive with intelligent torque distribution across both axles and single-speed transmission ensures a balanced and responsive driving experience.
Encompassing 130 years of automotive heritage, the Škoda Vision Gran Turismo marks Škoda’s debut in 'Gran Turismo'. Experience the car for yourself in Gran Turismo 7.

2024年4月24日（現地時刻）、チェコを代表する自動車メーカーのシュコダは「シュコダ ビジョン グランツーリスモ」を発表しました。
シュコダはその創業ルーツを1895年までさかのぼる名門自動車ブランドです。この重厚な歴史とともに、テーマのひとつとして挙げられたのが、1957年のル・マン24時間レースに向けて開発された名車「シュコダ 1100 OHC スパイダー」へのオマージュです。
エクステリアは、この1100 OHC スパイダーをモチーフとしながら、現代のシュコダがキーワードとするモダンソリッドデザインによる再解釈が行われています。
シャシーは最先端のカーボンモノコックによるもので、クルマとドライバーとの一体感を重視した設計が特徴です。
駆動方式とパワーユニットは、200 kW（272 PS）のモーターを4輪それぞれに配置する前輪駆動。合計800 kW（1088 PS）に及ぶ総出力を、前後アクスルに対しインテリジェントに配分。シングルスピードのトランスミッションとの組み合わせで、バランスとレスポンスに優れたドライビングを可能としています。
およそ130年におよぶシュコダの歴史における「グランツーリスモ」デビュー作品となるシュコダ ビジョン グランツーリスモ。その体験のすべてに、ご期待ください。

ハイブリッドが異常に速い！
例え純粋に油で走るクルマの6割くらいの馬力数でも
対人戦を除いて無双できることもある。
※Gr.1カップでマクラーレンvgt、L750RVGT、ポルシェ919、
トヨタTS030はほぼ無双状態

@@kousukefujisaka2571 ハイブリットマシンはブレーキで回生して加速にモーター使うからサルトサーキットとかでもない限りめちゃくちゃ速いですよねw
ただPP揃えるとバッテリー切れた時のドン亀感は異常ですw 特にアウディEトロンとか酷い ルートXでPP800に揃えたVGT Gr.1全車で走らせたらスタート以外Gr.4かなってくらい遅かった

You guys are worried about the wrong things. Just be happy you have an exclusive racing game on this platform.
(I understand your frustration but we have been here for about 2 years now and PD has been doing the same thing since GT Sport, at some point you gotta realize they aren't listening to the base populis and are just trying to keep the game together.) I suggest finding another game that not only has the cars you want but also stays informed on the opinion of the audience before they make their next decision on what to add, however you may not get too far 😢
you can play assetto corsa instead lol that's a way better option

@@SicKem Hats off to you sir, such a proper response without any hate. I love GT for what it is and for what it isn't. If I want some hardcore racing with newer cars I just fire up ACC. I play GT for the graphics, music, and car history.
Thanks Polyphony for finally including Skoda. Although people are not very excited that it is VGT, but now there is one more brand, does it hurt anyone?
I mentioned online that if they don't include any VRS models or older race/rally cars is a huge missed opportunity.
And the Skoda Motorsport social media team replied with "Noted"

I've commented that having this car is awesome and all, but it has to be usable outside of custom race, or else it will be just yet another preety 3D model that no one will care for because they can't use it
I much prefer old school concept cars over these vision cars, which would seem more at home in a game like F-zero
@@roborbob2913 not even retro, i think just most other concepts have less of a futuristic design "whiplash effect" when compared to regular cars

Usually not that fond of the VGT cars due to them being either too futuristic or implausible to build but this car looks like a futuristic yet plausible interpretation of group 7 cars like Can-Am

Klau ea punya body banyak flat infront it means theres a lot of down force leads to you can go every fast in straight line also in cornering. gran turismo is somethin' 😎.

Now, being serious here, making a cool af Škoda outside of WRC is something i've not wanted... until now. And if this visual language gets translated into their WRC cars as well as their rooad cars, i might think their cars can be beautiful again (in my opinion, the current cars are quite ugly)
