Speaking as an old rock 'n roll bass player, I find very little new music that I like. Two bands that I just discovered recently have renewed my faith in rock 'n roll. Those two bands are Blacktop Mojo and Dirty Honey. I don't have a favorite between the two; both bands are awesome and make me wish I could play again. It's a crime that I had never heard of these guys before now. I atoned a little for that by buying all of both bands' albums. If anyone knows of a recent band of the caliber of Blacktop Mojo and Dirty Honey, please pass it along.

I've seen these guys a half dozen times or so, and the level of talent, lyrically and musically is pretty damn amazing. That drummer, Nathan, adds so much to their sound, too!
