Oh, God,he just make the world a million times better by being in it. xx
Thank you so much. I always feel happy when I get encouraging words and write up from my fans out there. I know you will be so surprise to get a reply from me after 9yrs of your comment, but that It is not a problem right now. Once again I am so much grateful. You can as well send me a mail at my email address above for further talks about my band and music.
My favorite song from Nick Cave has always been We Know Who U R & i hope someday a movie or tv show uses it will an emotional scene.
Emotions what feels from this song
Song gets in alive as I wrote. Things just found moment somehow
Cave & Gaspar. Best collaboration in a long while.
I have good news. That band you like is going to come back into style.
Wow. Haha such a great reference. Thumbs up
Nick Cave and Goran Bare are treasure...
They are indeed.
Such a beautiful way of telling someone that you're gonna take them for a walk late at night in the woods and they'll never be seen again.
+BDDominick75 this... ahahahahah
wow that escalated quickly lol
Rodi što prije., plizzz...
ahahahahahahahha
And all the while, as you're leading them deeper and deeper into the forest, they're whimpering in fear, so you grip onto their wrist much more tightly, start dragging them, annoyed at their selfishness as you tell them "I don't know what you're so scared about: I've got to walk all the way back out on my own...."
beautiful.. just beautiful... just absolutely beautiful.
yeah, totally as you wrote.
I can’t believe that this was directed by Gasper Noé. This must be by far the most restrained thing that he’s ever put on film!
Dem flute solos
Typically awesome Nick Cave! He doesn't need to reinvent himself or his music, he just does it better each time.
Nick Cave is still up there with Tom Waits & Leonard Cohen - this song epitomises his brilliant vocals, his incredible song writing ability (be it on his own or in partnership), and the haunting score. Magical
Add John Cale, Mark Lanergan, Blixa Bargeld, Thurston Moore, and many obscure European singers. The latter of whom will never make an appearance in the 'Anglo-Phile' world of 'rock popularity'.

HA! you just listed my top favorite artists! Lol there are a couple others I I also put up top, but those 3 artist are all in a category of their own In my head, its awesome to see its not just me that others hold them together in their mind too
It sounds like he made that whole back beat with a Hammond spinet with the Rhythm machine built in. No wonder I can't get it out of my head.
I was listening to this last night as I was driving on a very dark highway in Mississippi in the middle of a rainy night. I was so focused on the song that I didn't see a curve coming up and lost control of my car. It spun several times and I ended up on the side of the hwy. Got stuck the middle of the mud for a while. All the spinning and then my car gliding through the grass and then the mud while listening to this was kind of a beautiful moment haha I'm lucky nothing happened to me or my car.
Ahem... Very romantic, but really not quite worth it, isn't? Please don't try this again.
David Jashi I wouldn't "try this again" since I never actually tried to make it happen in the first place. The fact that it was not planned is exactly what made it special. This awesome tune playing in the background made it perfect. It was indeed what could be described as romantic. One of those things that a description such as the one above will do no justice. It was a unique rush of adrenaline and emotions that most people nowadays do not get from their daily life. I felt like I needed a towel so dry the juices my brain must have squirted throughout this. Please, try it!
amok that story itself is more or less the essence of Nick Caves poetry
That's a great story to tell when you're stoned. Thanks from Asutralia
Creepy, how did you get out of there?
Everything this man does is frikkin' BRILLIANT!!!
Ник Кейв, вы потрясающий.. в вас пародоксально сочетаются безграничная мужественная харизма и первозданная трепетная человеческая нежность и чуткость.. как такое может быть? Слушаю вас снова и снова..❤
My God. Mr Nick Cave, just when I think you can't get any better, you prove me wrong. You are a fucking genius, man
Nick Cave and Gaspar Noe. This one killed!
Nick Cave and Gaspar Noé are my favorite crossover EVER
This guy helped me beat my 30 years drug addiction
I used to listen to a lot of Nick Cave when I was very young. I guess I am one of those in that generation. I still love this even though I haven't heard it in years. It means so much more now that I am older.......
I really want to hug Nick Cave.
Trees on the shores of salmon runs contain fish DNA..... nature is pretty amazing how it can take care of its self... man is just the care taker and needs to respect it. Peace & Love to you all.
The tree don't care what the little bird sings
We go down with the dew in the morning light
The tree don't know what the little bird brings
We go down with the dew in the morning
And we breathe it in
There is no need to forgive
Breathe it in
There is no need to forgive
The trees will stand like pleading hands
We go down with the dew in the morning light
The trees all stand like pleading hands
We go down with the dew in the morning
And we breathe it in
There is no need to forgive
Breathe it in
There is no need to forgive
The trees will burn with blackened hands
We returned with the light of the evening
The trees will burn, blackened hands
Nowhere to rest, no where to land
And we know who you are
And we know where you live
And we know there's no need to forgive
And we know who you are
And we know where you live
And we know there's no need to forgive
And we know who you are
And we know where you live
And we know there's no need to forgive
And we know who you are
And we know where you live
And we know there's no need to forgive again
Every time I try to remember this song's melody I think of "Abattoir Blues".
this is some twin peaks right there
God .. this song is above all expectations ! I am a big fan of Tom Waits and The Doors but Nick is another one who blow my mind . Great artis , cheers from Romania !
Love this song....his poetry is heartbreaking
"the trees all stand like pleading hands.."
Einfach herrlich dieser Song, auch ich liebe ihn.
“Shaking its fist in the air”
This song is so beautiful it hurts.
Still stacks up well in 2022... Anyone still listening ?
I do not often listen to Nick Cave, but I must admit that the song is great!
A very bright light behind a person, some contrast adjustment, inspiration. It's beautiful.
It's good to see Mr. Cave (and the Bad Seeds) in excellent form.
Nick Cave is an aquired taste for perrrrfection..... no regrets here ... love it
Nick can do wrong for me...I love all his music.
No hands , no skies, nothing can catch this one.
oh you poor little poets praising this song. you poor souls we know where you live.
Pure Poet of our time!!!
This video is a trip!!! Can't believe Nick Cave is still making such great music after all these years, a true talent.
he is getting better with age. he is a genious
Genius
Agreed. Incredible human being
Nick Cave is just an amazing man♥
He brings out emotions within me that I never knew existed

This sounds great 2 glasses of wine later.
The world will change, but the spirit of our intentions will always direct us in our will to be!
Everything Gaspar Noé does it's a fucking experience
nick cave is a god
God,I love Nick Cave more and more. Thank you Nick Cave!
so ein poetischer Song - ich habe ihn gerade in der schlusssequenz des " Spreewald -Krimi" gehört, es passte super da rein !
Nick Cave is a Godly Genius!!
those words/lyrics are the reason, why I wanted to learn English ... for me the best reason I have ever had :) my English is no way near perfect, but I understand now and it makes me sooo happy
Glad you found something in Nick Cave!
Iva Rezabkova - if ever there was a good reason to learn English, Nick Cave’s lyrics are it (but now try checking out "Babe I’m On Fire”!)
Are you Czech?
@@jlori4690 Just thought you were talking to me (I'm learing Czech at the moment!)
I wish I had a great reason to learn English. But I'm a 100% sure The Bad Seeds are a good start. ENGLISH is 7th for me but the intricate words and NC's methodology of inverting sentences to create an unique meaning is amazing.
I really like this music video
Nick el vampiro perfecto ❤️
This song is incredibly beautiful. The video transcribes perfectly the emotional feelings and the desperate atmosphere, though it is very simple. It is a MASTERPIECE. Thank you to Nick Cave.
Indigenous peoples have precious gifts from The Father.
Great song for a walk in the dark wood, really. Hope for more of that kind.
Rapidly becoming my favourite Nick Cave tune.
Nick is my soul brother. I like this track ...
This was a great album.
Reminds me of Twin Peaks... Great song and video.
Very mellow video.
When it comes to the use of nature and the outdoors to get a point across(both lyrically and visually) no one can beat Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds.
Are you kiddin' me? I flew from Miami Beach, FL to SFO just to see the Nick man and his Bad-ass Seeds... That was a peak experience. The sound was superb and unmatched. The man is pure and absolute Rock 'n Roll!!
Nick and Gaspar: a perfect alchemy
nick cave’s voice is the acoustic equivalent of eating dark chocolate rum cake from a really expensive antique sheffield silver plate while having your ex-lover - who ditched you by the way - press a gun against your right temple at 11 PM on a saturday night when you’re home and everybody is out and drunk and nobody can save you
Camila Schneider wow... that is some description
And eventually they break down and cry because you were always the strong one and they regret ever breaking up with you. You inevitably start to reminisce about old times as he cracks open a bottle of Barolo and pours you a glass, slowly drops the gun and you end up fucking your final goodbyes to each other in a blur of red and black and wine and flashing gunmetal....and the distant hum of Nick singing to you both, before pass out, spent...and covered in smears of that goddamn chocolate rum cake. Not all goodbyes have to be bad ones.
Wow Camila, wow!
@@bad-girlbex3791 wow, you too, wow. Girls you rock!
Sounds amazing
Nailed it at Glastonbury, absolutely nailed it.
I know Nick Cave for a long time and have seen him live twice. Mostly because my girlfriend liked him...:)
For some reason, this song blew me away. So sweet skindeep and so mean and vengeful inside...
I love it!
Yeahhhh! Ma. Ophelia, hes a gigantic genius in this Bee-song 4 me 2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
David Gilmour brought me here.. said he listened to the whole album from beginning to end and said it was brilliant..let's see what's up...
where did he say that?
@@lacanian1500 ruclips.net/video/O0VFDYrcd3U/видео.html
I'd actually say that Nick has never really lost his edge. He has gone through a couple VERY brief moments of slumping, but for the most part has delivered knockout after knockout. Whether it's the tender heartache of "No More Shall We Part", the big band gravitas of "Abattoir Blues", or the hardcore Grinderman; he's just... cool.
Can't wait. Beautiful
Great great song!
As always Nick Cave brilliant lyrics
i really need this album
Nick Cave was always cool.
The video is one of the best examples of genius simplicity; such an amazing compliment to this song.
Joseph Smecker Gaspar Noé !!!

Awesome...shout out from Brooklyn NY USA
Grinderman was very good as a live band, I can't say i liked all of Grinderman's songs on the albums, but they all were brilliant performed live. As for the bad seeds, what Cave does is much more diverse and can bring you anywhere. And having been to 3 Bad Seeds and one Grinderman Gig, i have to say the last Bad Seeds performance 2008 was one of the best concerts i've ever been too. Closely followed by the Grinderman Gig. Anyhow, i'm more than happy he's back on Bad Seeds duty...
I LOVE THAT MAN ....WHAT A FANTASTIC SONG ...OXOXOXOXO
me too!!!!
Considering the video for this is quite simply someone holding a camera, walking around a forest with a light behind them, I like it quite a lot :D
Impatient, reactionary, creative source of emotional subject, conscious or unconscious, strong, relatively unstable, violent with strong color and clear valuation, suitable quality and determine the meaning, they get the momentum in grated form - emotions. Crack in musical form, with thanks to Nick :)
words of a true bad seed
If ya wanna dance and enjoy this song please play it at 1.5 speed
Gaspar Noé
So beautiful and romantic! 🖤🥀
Stay gold, Nick. I hope it's not what I think this is, but then again, if not here, then when. Art on a new scale.
i don't believe he's added UK dates yet... but if and when he does, i'll be there!
I get lost with this song, among the trees suggesting shadows. They don't care who I am, they don't care what I bring. I go down with the dew in the darkness.
Relax song To 2023.

How things maybe when past ones are here with us as they were. Older we see things diffenly. Feeling whats keeps them in our memories.
They not left us as I understand now
We know who Nick Cave is... amazing!!!
He*s voice got that what he make liked.
they are getting better and better
I know right. The ad actually alerted me to new nick cave album!
Can't wait for this album. There are only two artists that I buy a new album without bothering listening to it as I know I will always love it and Nick Cave is my no 1 pick. Such an inspiration.
The music video is completely symbolic of the song itself. It is far from traditional, but there lies depth in the repetition of the shadow itself. It often fades in and out of it's backdrop, blending with the night sky, making us question if this subject has any natural authenticity or if it indeed is just a biproduct of the world around it. Such visualization makes us question if the subject can ever be representational of itself.
Loved the song just as much as the video.
Grandios!🖤
This video was directed by french director gaspar noe, the bad seeds and gaspar noe...what a deliciously dark combination...I love it.
My best band
My ears are overflowing with awesome! I can't take it anymore! REPLAY!!!
Nick delivers emotions like no other..
The “tree” is representative of the human race, and the “little bird” is representative of one person. Cave is essentially stating that one person’s opinion won’t make a bit of difference, as it will be drowned out by millions of other voices.
