Because she knows life is a race & sadly no one has time to talk , see & give time to others . Empathy is one thing, but truly being able to care for other people is quite frankly -not possible.
Not every dadi is like this. I will give you an example of my grandmother who has been sitting and eating since 30 years.she never gave a glass of water to anyone in her whole life. She and her daughters say it's the responsibility of daughters in law to serve them like maids. Yes people like these exists.
Being a Punjabi, I love people who put heart in their cooking. And I can see that a lot in Gujarati people here in London. I visited this restaurant in Wembley here run by very hard working Gujarati women. The taste was so homely and beyond delicious. I'm very hard to please when it comes to food. And I never give 5 star rating on Google to any restaurant, but that one was an exception. Kudos to Gujjuben for their courage, inspiration and love for food at this age for us all!
I have tears in my eyes.... Seeing her innocence..no craze behind profit....what a dedication ...amazing spirit...after losing 3 kids..she still is so strong mentally...her family is really lucky to have her in their lives.a real motivation to the younger generation...i pray to the Almighty to bless her .. With the best of health always...
My mother she is 58 has arthritis. Her one leg one hand doesn't work properly but she still works 10 hours a day with a smile and enthusiasm despite of lots of pain and weakness. May god give her more strength and happiness. She is the backbone of my family. There is lot to learn from such women.
Aameen. My Mother is the same she is 61 and suffers from Rheumatoid Arthritis. She still manages to more or less cook and is a very speedy worker. If i was to stand on my feet i would easily get tired but not my Mum. She really looks after herself in terms of what she eats etc. Love from the UK 🤗

Damn this reminds me of my Grandmother.. she was a Pulmonologist and she practised till the age of 84.. even though she was diagnosed with stomach cancer at 83.. I miss her so much.. we must empower our senior citizens and not treat them as a liability

We also lost our grandmother on 15 August, 2021 due to Covid, she was 85 years of age and at this age she was very courageous and hardworking lady, it has been 3 days as we lost her due to Corona, she eas very active and at this age she does all of her works by herself, this lady reminds me of her, may she have a good health...

Good thought, but in the current social set up who wants to have grandparents under the same roof? It is always "give and take". Old age spares no one but to remain young at heart and keep working your best is the key here. Young couple may think we will hire a nanny to care for kids, but such a situation may not be always helpful. Service recieved in exchange of money, may not have the same warmth of LOVE as grand parents can provide. Plus, it is now always the same situation where grandparents would like to work hard thinking they have done enough during their younger years and it is their time to relax, not running after grandkids and/or get bothered with hardships of any such kind. Well wishing good for all, take care, and enjoy the life that opens up in your life. Each new day will open up a new petal of the flower!

Dadi reminds me of my Dadi. My Dadi lost my grandfather when she was very young and she single handedly took care of her 3 children. My dadi is almost 70 now and touchwood I have never seen her saying that she is tired. I used to study in night for my exams and she used to always ask me in between whether i need something or if I am hungry. She would be ready to work even at 3 am. She always wishes best for everyone and even for those people who have hurt her. Life has been unfair to my Dadi even then she thanks God every single day and prays for her children and grandchildren. This video just reminded me that i am truly blessed i am to have her in my life and i just pray that she remains healthy forever.

Young couple may think we will hire a nanny to care for kids, but such a situation may not be always helpful. Service recieved in exchange of money, may not have the same warmth of LOVE as grand parents can provide. Plus, it is now always the same situation where grandparents would like to work hard thinking they have done enough during their younger years and it is their time to relax, not running after grandkids and/or get bothered with hardships of any such kind. Dadi reminds me of my Dadi. My Dadi lost my grandfather when she was very young and she single handedly took care of her 3 children. My dadi is almost 70 now and touchwood I have never seen her saying that she is tired. I used to study in night for my exams and she used to always ask me in between whether i need something or if I am hungry. She would be ready to work even at 3 am. She always wishes best for everyone and even for those people who have hurt her. Life has been unfair to my Dadi even then she thanks God every single day and prays for her children and grandchildren. This video just reminded me that i am truly blessed i am to have her in my life and i just pray that she remains healthy forever.
I'm half Tamil, quarter Mahe mallu, and quarter Assamese but don't know Hindi. Subtitles made a huge difference for me. Thanks guys!
