Today's kids will never know the magic of 90's. It was such a golden time....Bally sagoo, sagarika, shaan, baba sehgal, daler mehdi, toooo good to be ever forgotten.... Cheers to 90's !!!!
I grew up in Trinidad 🇹🇹, when this song made it to us we thought it was a reggae re-mix called indian dub lol fast forward 15 years later I found out while living in New York that it was a Punjabi song lol, memories ❤
Born in 80s and then heard this and many other songs while growing up in 90s .. coming back from school and listening to MTV music before going for tuitions... and dancing on these tunes when no body was at home.. goooshhh... gone are those days .. there was a magic in the air of 90s
in 1992 this song was extremely famousin SRILANKA specially in north province.. if you go to any shop/any tea stall or anywhere you can here this song.even small childrens are singing this song. in wedding functions of birthday parties.. thanks uploader..
27 years and this song is still fresh (the song was part of "Bally Sagoo & Malkit Singh: Ragga Muffin Mix 1991" Album, the video in India was made and released in 1997)
I used to listen to this everyday in Columbo, I would get home from school and my friends and I would listen to it for hours. They said some Indians were upset that a traditional song became new age. I understood but they insisted on me to keep playing. They just didn't want the king to loose tradition, I understand. Bless them all.
My father bought this CD "Pump Up The Bhangra" from Singapore back in the 90's and I ripped so many cassettes to my mates of that CD. I can sing this song and still remembers all the stops and beats in Star Megamix. BTW this was when I was in Sri Lanka. Not a Sri Lankan anymore, but still an avid fan of Bally Sagoo. Thank you.

Can't be replaced ever by any remix or remake... Original is gold
2020 always in love with this original one and not the Bollywood version
